The finished photo set of Gongsun Li Cosplay shot live at the Anime convention has finally been sorted out. To fit the venue of the Anime convention and the character design, a lot of preparation was done in advance regarding costumes and props. This red-and-gold Japanese-style outfit features an abundance of details; the metallic splicing on the chest and the diamond-shaped decorations at the waist are all custom-made. The crop-top design paired with high-slit dark pants creates a very clean and sharp overall silhouette once worn. For headwear, long straight golden hair with blunt bangs is paired with massive white plush Bunny ears and metallic red-and-white hair ornaments, visually elongating the overall proportions. The black choker and pendant around the neck were also matched in accordance with the original design.

On the day of the shoot, the Anime convention had a massive crowd flow, making the on-site environment quite noisy. To capture unobstructed and highly dynamic photos amidst the crowd, I held that gigantic red-and-white oil-paper umbrella and coordinated with the photographer through numerous turns and stretching movements. This umbrella is extremely heavy, and lifting and spinning it rapidly poses a huge test for arm and core strength. The full-body poses in Photo 2 and Photo 3 look effortless, but in reality, to make the skirt hem and ribbons flutter naturally, I jumped continuously several times. Although the thick wedge soles make me look taller, maintaining balance on the bumpy exhibition hall floor genuinely required some effort. The high-slit pants design on the legs effectively exposes leg lines during movement, which, combined with the form-fitting upper body design, accentuates the curved silhouette of the overall styling.

The half-body close-up in Photo 1 utilizes a pose holding the umbrella with one hand while gently caressing the cheek with the other, requiring gaze and expression to be maintained in a languid yet confident state. The golden-brown contact lenses and warm-toned eye makeup stand out prominently under the exhibition hall's overhead lighting. During post-processing, a large amount of red-and-yellow mixed Maple leaf materials and golden light-flare surrounding special effects were added to echo the Maple leaf elements in Gongsun Li's skill mechanics, while also compensating for the messy background of the Anime convention site, focusing the visual center of the frame entirely on the atmosphere we wanted to convey.

From the early-stage costume adaptation and wig styling, to the action design during the shoot and late-stage VFX composition, I participated in and poured a tremendous amount of energy into the entire process. I have always deeply loved the character Gongsun Li, so in terms of recreation, I tried my best to capture her agile and ethereal traits. Every Anime convention brings together many fellow enthusiasts, and being able to leave behind high-quality image records in such an environment is a deeply meaningful thing to me. I am personally extremely satisfied with the output results this time, and I hope to continue bringing everyone more wonderful works in future exhibitions and photoshoots.
