Putting on this black-and-white Office Lady uniform and standing in the classroom with a folder in hand truly feels entirely different from wearing casual clothes out on the street normally.
The cut of the suit jacket is very crisp, and the inner white shirt has a sharp neckline. Combined with the dark suit skirt and black stockings, it instantly maximizes the overall professionalism. The striking white geometric halo on top of the head and the small black horns with red string knots beautifully neutralize the dullness and sense of distance brought by the black-and-white formal wear, allowing this look to reveal a few hints of the character's unique temperament amidst the seriousness.
Before the shoot, I was also thinking about how to amplify this contrast through poses: in Figure 1, kneeling on one knee, combined with the strong illumination of the side-overhead light, casts a clear silhouette shadow on the floor, heavily highlighting the three-dimensionality of my facial features and making my hands look slender in the light and shadow; Figure 2 features a looking-back pose while holding documents, where the waist and back must be kept straight to display that taut, professional workplace feel; Figure 3 shows kneeling on the desk, where I smoothed out the wrinkles of the shirt as much as possible to concentrate the visual focus on the bright white upper body and soft face; Figure 4 completely switches to a different state while lying on the desk, with calves curled backward and my face resting on my hands, bringing out that relaxed and lazy "after-class" atmosphere.
To match the overall style of this outfit, I didn't choose an overly sweet smile for my expression, but instead kept it restrained with a bit of seriousness and focus, hoping to fit the mature aura of the character appearing in school. In terms of lighting, this beam of side-overhead light is the soul of this shoot; it not only outlines the smooth luster of the wig but also allows the suit fabric to manifest a certain sense of draping, creating a subtle sense of presence between a real classroom and the 2D world together with the blackboard and desks and chairs behind. Although keeping my physical posture in check at all times is required after putting on this formal wear, the whole shooting process was extremely pleasant, and being able to capture such a set of frames counts as a very dedicated attempt in Classroom photography and Cosplay sharing.
