From the moment I received the wig, I began pondering this Komeiji Koishi cosplay styling. The pale-green wavy curls hold a cool-toned luster under the lights; paired with vivid pink blush on both cheeks and dark contact lenses, the facial makeup was designed to evoke an otherworldly, fairytale-like quality. The foundation was deliberately applied on the paler side to complement the green hair and darker garments, anchoring visual focus onto facial features. For the wardrobe, this cream-and-dark-green Lolita dress styling incorporates rich black lace elements. The broad-brimmed black hat demanded precise positioning—tilting it slightly back elongates facial proportions while allowing sunlight to fall gracefully across the face. The puff sleeves and black strapping on the top add visual volume, while multi-tiered lace on the skirt enriches its depth and movement.
For props, I prepared a specially shaped purple piece accented with small yellow and green blossoms, along with sapphire-toned gems that echoed the colors of the outfit. The decorative sword in hand was also meticulously coordinated, adorned with floral trims to infuse a sense of fantasy and whimsical quirkiness that matches the character's persona. The shoot took place in an everyday setting: a stone bench in a park exterior. The surrounding lush greenery harmonized beautifully with the overall palette. Sunlight filtering through the foliage created dappled light and shadow, looking far more organic than artificial lights. To channel her unconscious, absentminded state, I dialed back focused intent in my facial expression, letting my gaze drift into a vacant, slightly puzzled daydream. Posing on the bench placed heavy importance on extending leg lines. The first shot captures lifting my foot to display shoe details. The second features crossed legs, looking sideways toward the camera. In the third shot, I slipped off one shoe and stepped onto the bench. Taking off the shoe was actually a spontaneous decision to showcase the delicate details of the black cut-out lace stockings. Stepping onto the stone bench barefoot in stockings while letting the other shoe rest aside made the posture feel much more relaxed and full of life, visually elongating the leg lines. It was important not to sit too close to the camera, maintaining proper distance to minimize lens distortion and preserve head-to-body proportions. Shooting in a park exterior brought real challenges—mosquitoes were everywhere and the stone bench was uneven, requiring constant adjustments to find the best posture and lines while ensuring the flower decorations on the props stayed intact. A lot of thought went into pose design and ambiance creation, hoping to convey that blend of pure innocence and quiet detachment. I hope everyone can feel the character's unique charm through these frames.
