To avoid any potential controversy regarding the interpretation of the character's image, I'd like to apologize to everyone in advance for this Halloween little devil set of Rem! This shoot mainly used pumpkins and a vintage leather sofa as the background. To fit the holiday atmosphere, I chose a black bodysuit with a patent leather gloss feel, paired with glossy long gloves and over-the-knee stockings. This highly reflective material easily reflects light under studio lighting, so I kept adjusting the angles during the shoot to make the light transition as naturally as possible, highlighting the clothing's texture while preserving the translucent feel of the skin.
In terms of makeup, to fit the little devil attributes, besides the iconic blue hair and pink cross hair ornament, the eye makeup intentionally intensified the smudging of red-toned eyeshadow, and bright blue contact lenses were worn, hoping to present an effect that is both two-dimensional and not rigid in front of the lens. This large orange-red witch hat actually has a certain weight, and during the shoot, the head needed to maintain a specific tilt angle to balance the brim of the hat and the black little devil wings on the back within the same frame without blocking the line of sight.
For pose direction, I didn't deliberately strike too many exaggerated poses, instead leveraging the sofa's backrest and armrests, leaning the body slightly forward or sitting sideways with crossed legs, using body language to showcase a bit of the little devil's playfulness and a trace of dangerous allure. The posture in the first picture of kneeling on one knee on the leather sofa, supporting the body with one hand and slightly raising the other, actually tests core strength quite a bit, but the captured body curves are truly satisfying. The second picture is a relaxed sideways sitting posture with crossed legs, paired with leather long stockings, which visually lengthens the leg proportions. The barefoot setting was also intended to keep the overall look from seeming too dull, adding a touch of natural and realistic feeling.
The entire set design and prop matching were aligned as much as possible with the Halloween theme, from scattered jack-o'-lanterns to autumn maple leaves, all striving to build a more immersive visual space. Although this shoot was a bit tiring, the final photos' light-and-shadow texture and overall atmosphere both reached my expectations. I hope this dark yet slightly cute little devil style can present the image I hold in my heart.
