Today I'm sharing this set of Touhou Project Remilia cosplay photos. Costume preparation mainly centered around the interplay of red and white lace. The oversized red lace bow was shaped with internal wiring so that it maintains a structured, crisp curve when standing without collapsing under the fabric's weight. The white skirt uses three distinct layers of lace fabric to create rich visual depth. The headpiece was the trickiest part; to recreate those fluffy ruffles, I lined the inside with structured tulle to ensure it stays full and doesn't droop when worn. I selected a light blue-grey wig with moderate sheen and used a curling iron to fine-tune the inward curve of the bangs, which is crucial for framing the face. The makeup featured expansive red eyeshadow and thick false eyelashes with elongated eyeliner, paired with reddish-brown contacts to channel an ethereal Vampire aura. For shooting, we utilized indoor natural light combined with studio lights to enhance clarity and transparency. Given the limited indoor space and background clutter, post-processing focused heavily on background blur and soft-light effects to restore that charming Lolita atmosphere. During shooting, I continuously adjusted hand placement and body balance to find better angles. Resting my chin or crossing my arms required careful tension control—staying gentle and stable while avoiding pressing down on the skirt's lace to prevent creasing. When doing cosplay shoots with heavily accessorized, voluminous skirts, I recommend arranging the petticoat beforehand so that broader movements don't displace any props. This photo set captures Remilia's exquisite, subtly mischievous persona. After extensive detail adjustments, achieving this final result feels very satisfying. Opportunities to focus wholeheartedly on crafting an intricate dress look are rare nowadays, making this shoot truly memorable.
