Overall, the hair, makeup, and shooting for Firefly Day 3 turned out with a higher level of completion than I expected. The cut of the off-the-shoulder black tulle dress fits the body silhouette tightly, especially the blue rose decoration at the waist, which adds a bit of recognition to the overall black tone. For the hairstyle, a high side ponytail was paired with a crescent-shaped headpiece; achieving a accurate recreation required showing hair strand texture and secure accessory fastening, so I spent a long time fine-tuning the wig bangs before the shoot.

The location was chosen on a roadside outdoors where light was relatively soft and diffused, without using continuous lighting, relying mainly on natural light to trace the outline. The pose leaning against the fence on one leg was actually to elongate the visual proportion of the legs while wearing black high heels and black stockings, while allowing the ruffles of the skirt hem to drop naturally, exposing a bit of the waist curve. That black rose prop was specially made by the prop master using a lightweight foam structure, so holding it or adjusting angles over a long time wouldn't make the wrist sore, making it ideal for various arm-raising or turning-back pose gestures.

Speaking of pairing black stockings with a short dress, movement during the shoot was actually quite restricted. Because the lower hem of the skirt is very puffy, combined with high heels, walking even a bit faster makes it easy to step on the skirt hem. So in those few compositions involving the railing, I could only control the shift of my center of gravity, relying on variations in upper body and hand movements to get the shot, with fine adjustments at the feet relying on toe force to stay steady. This dark, subtly sexy style also places high demands on the makeup; to match the metallic feel of the headpiece, cool gray and blue rhinestone accents were added to the eye makeup instead of the usual warm-toned highlights.

Since this was Day 2 of the convention, physical energy consumption was high, but the slimming effect of this outfit during photos was definitely a major advantage. When standing next to the metal railing, that long rectangular color block contrasted just right with the black of the skirt hem, hiding the lines of the lower body in shadows while using the pointed heel of the high heels to break up the monotony. The placement of the prop rose was actually very deliberate—it couldn't block the face, yet needed to drape naturally along the shoulder line to keep the character looking composed and mature while retaining a touch of 2D vividness.

Finally, pieced together like this, the overall atmosphere is quite solid. In reality, there was a heavy crowd on site, but the photographer found a very quiet spot with stable lighting. Shooting outdoors carries many uncertainties, especially around conventions, but fortunately the end result was crisp and well-executed.
