[Remielle cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: Dark Gothic Style Black Form Photoshoot

This photoshoot for Remielle's black form was set in a dark Gothic style indoor studio, primarily decorated with a carved throne, a crystal birdcage, floor-length hanging chains, and a chessboard. The costume features a red-and-black puffy mini skirt paired with a white stand collar and bow tie, with the large black wings on the back and garter Black stockings on the legs serving as key visual focal points.

To complement the dark scene on the day of the shoot, the makeup specifically emphasized reddish-purple eyes and the forehead mark, paired with a short pink wig styling. In terms of pose design, to express the character's commanding, mysterious, and haughty aura, most actions were centered around seated and standing poses. Sitting on the throne with legs crossed not only showcased the lines of the Black stockings and high heels, but also amplified the overall commanding presence in the frame. Shooting angles on the ground utilized high and low angles: high-angle shots nicely highlighted reflections of the skirt and wings on the glossy floor, while low-angle shots effectively elongated the leg proportions.

Thoughtful effort went into the use of props: placing the chessboard in the front-right foreground, combined with a subtle hand-raising motion, enhanced the atmosphere of a strategic power play. The birdcage had a built-in light bulb, providing excellent backlighting in low-light conditions. We used a Sony A7C2 camera with a Tamron 28-75mm lens; the camera's solid high-ISO performance accurately captured the texture of the Black stockings and the color gradients of the red-and-black costume even in high-contrast, shadow-heavy environments.

Wearing such large wings and platform heels required balancing my center of gravity during frequent pose changes, especially for floor-seated poses where leg angles needed careful adjustment to ensure a graceful, expansive look. The entire shoot was completed amidst constant adjustments of lighting and angles, aiming to faithfully convey the character's ruthless and bloodthirsty, yet cold and elegant temperament through this Anime-style photography set.
