Every time I post a look where I appear somewhat frail, people always suggest eating more. I know everyone is just showing concern, and I'm truly grateful deep down. However, being able to complete a full day of shooting in this heavy gear doesn't depend on eating more, but rather on a dedication to restoring the character's costume details and a serious attitude toward convention photos.
The key elements of this look are all reflected in the shoes, socks, and belts. Although the semi-sheer black stockings and glossy patent leather shoes got a bit muddy on the outdoor grass, requiring quick wipes with wet tissues during breaks, the final photos turned out clean without any mud spots. The background red brick wall and lawn were softly blurred by the large aperture, completely separating the character from the crowded and chaotic environment typical of a convention. It's clear that it's a real outdoor portrait setting, yet the subject isn't overshadowed by background tourists, tents, or clutter. When shooting a cooler character style like this, you don't actually need overly sweet expressions; maintaining a confident, calm, or slightly aloof expression aligns better with the overall tone of the outfit.
