Ever since stepping out in this Honkai: Star Rail collaboration Saber Artoria Cosplay outfit, I've been constantly urged to finish editing these Convention photos. Today I can finally share two shots with my favorite angles. Speaking of the character itself, capturing that heroic spirit and noble composure in real life is no small task—especially when wielding a long sword prop almost as tall as I am, where mastering the handle's center of gravity alone took considerable time to get used to. As for the hairstyle, the iconic ahoge received rigid internal support, swaying slightly whenever I trotted around, which many friends on-site teased as peak fidelity.

Costume texture is paramount; the surface of this royal blue battle dress uses a subtle sheen fabric, enriched by golden edging and white lace along the skirt hem to create deep visual layering. The silver armor plate on the shoulder and the flowing black cape behind actually weighed down heavily when worn, compounded by several inner layers of binding straps that drained my physical energy significantly. Yet to capture the dynamic tension of swinging the sword in the first photo, I tightened my core completely, extending my left leg back to sink my center of gravity—all to form a bold triangular composition as both arms held the long sword aloft. Conversely, standing upright resting on the sword in the second photo delivers an entirely different mood: hands clasped over the hilt planted vertically into the floor, paired with a resolute glare toward the lens to convey cool, commanding combat presence.

Turning to the venue environment, this shoot took place in an open area inside the convention hall, where high ceilings and rows of spotlights provided crisp, defined ambient lighting. The high-gloss reflective floor turned out to be an unexpected bonus, as the dark ground mirrored my silhouette, adding fantastic visual extension. However, with heavy foot traffic flowing through the hall, capturing clean frames without passersby demanded precise timing from the photographer. Surrounded by piled light stands and camera bags, we virtually wedged camera angles into narrow openings amidst the crowd.

This look originates from Honkai: Star Rail collaboration content; as Convention photos go, meeting fellow fans who shared a passion for this design and snapping photos together brought that genuine joy of finding kindred spirits. Before stepping out, I tailored my foundation and eye makeup specifically for this styling, combining blue-purple contact lenses with crisp, sharp eyeliner to recreate 2D delicacy under on-site lighting conditions. Behind every exhilarating Cosplay photography session lies the soreness of walking around a convention all day; though my legs and shoulders ached afterward, seeing the blade reflections and skirt folds accurately preserved in final frames made all the effort deeply rewarding. Finally, to echo the "King of Meals from Britain" meme mentioned in the post, at the end of the day, even the most elegant knight must devour a feast of hotpot after the convention—that is the most authentic conclusion to any set of Convention photos.
