[Cyrene Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Omphalos: A Page of Eternity

The organizing work for this Cyrene photo set is finished, so I'm sharing it with everyone! The core prop is the multi-slot standee in my hands. When I received the physical item, the delicacy and texture of the acrylic panel were outstanding, and the thickened backboard made it extremely stable when standing up. Special thanks to photographer Chengyicheng and retoucher Yangzai for their full assistance throughout this successful shoot. From design to final images, what excited me most about this whole project was this physical prop designed by creator @Lu yuan🍔—the arrangement of character silhouettes and the glowing color pairing were remarkably well-executed. However, I was in such a rush on the shooting day that I accidentally inserted the character slot for Xiaodi in the reverse direction, failing to align perfectly with the original design, so I wanted to address that mistake here.

The location was chosen outdoors at night, with blurred streetlight halos in the background. To achieve a harmonious overall brightness between the character and the glowing standee, Chengyicheng experimented extensively with lighting angles—striving both to avoid direct glare off the acrylic panel and to keep facial contours crisp, which took considerable effort. Photos 1 and 2 present the final illuminated effect, which best fits my vision for the "A Page of Eternity" theme, hoping to evoke that atmosphere of flipping through a frozen story.

For makeup and styling this time, the long pink wig was layered and thinned to prevent a heavy look, with a subtle purple gradient added at the ends to complement the light source from the standee. The headpiece incorporated translucent white butterfly wings and leaf elements, complemented by a large white bow at the neck and pointed ears, aligning the overall look with character aesthetics from the Omphalos region. The costume materials were lightweight, allowing for natural movement.

Photo 3 shows an actual shoot of the physical standee under natural light, displaying color accuracy of the storage box and standee when unlit. The edge-cutting craft is smooth, and the matching storage box folds up portably. During post-production, Yangzai added subtle particle effects along the hair edges while enhancing the luminous dispersion of the standee's highlights, imbuing the photo set with a dreamlike atmosphere detached from reality, matching the fantasy vibe of Honkai: Star Rail itself.

Throughout the shooting process, physical stamina was mostly spent holding the multi-slot standee for extended periods to find angles, maintaining steady hand postures for quite a while. However, seeing the final photos alongside the physical display item brought a huge sense of accomplishment. Working in sync with the photographer and retoucher, each fulfilling our roles to express the theme clearly, made for a great Cosplay photography experience.
