This Acheron look focused primarily on head Close-up expressions, zeroing in on the visual feedback of the long purple bangs and those violet eyes. To recreate the layered, cool-toned depth from the original design in a Source-accurate style, I specifically chose a blue-to-purple gradient wig and spent substantial time styling the volume at the crown and the natural drape of the long side bangs, using a flat iron to give the ends a slight inward curve. The white highlights were added separately as extensions to create richer layers.

Next is the makeup section. The base makeup leaned clean and fair, with very neat concealer work. The eyes were the centerpiece: I wore purple colored contacts, and instead of over-blending the eyeshadow, I deepened the eye corners following the eye shape, then used a gel eyeliner to elongate and slightly wing out the outer corners, giving the gaze more depth and storytelling. For lip color, I chose a natural soft pink tone to build her cool, distant, yet not overly glamorous atmosphere.

The choker and shield pendant around the neck are the soul props of this look. The metallic-textured pendant features a pink-purple gemstone in the center, paired with a black leather choker and purple straps; putting it on definitely required patience to adjust the tightness. I padded a bit of cotton cloth on the back, which not only prevented skin scratches but also helped the pendant sit snugly over the collarbone without looking awkward.

During the shoot, I continuously adjusted the angle of my gaze, trying to keep that seemingly calm yet thorny melancholy within my eyes, rather than just blankly staring.

A few practical tips for friends who want to try this Anime cosplay look: The wig definitely requires hair wax and strong-hold setting spray, especially for the bangs covering the eyes, otherwise they easily collapse and obstruct your vision; for contacts, try choosing designs with softer limbal edges so your gaze looks more natural on camera; for props like the pendant and choker, make sure to check whether the screws are tightened before shooting, as they can easily slip off with movement.
