Putting on this light white dress and stepping onto the stairs, I truly had the illusion of returning to the moon. The scene set an icy blue and white tone early on, which, together with the crescent moon prop and geometric Roman pillars, highlighted the cold, otherworldly vibe outside reality that this character originally holds.

The materials for this outfit are exquisite—the outer white light gauze is extremely flowy, while the inner blue ribbon-like fabric and skirt hem create rich color layering. The highlighting elements remain the white mesh face mask and the white horn-like head accessories on top, which capture that mysterious sense of fate with great precision. The hair features a black base with pink gradient highlights, specifically styled into two fluffy buns to add a touch of playful young girl charm into this cold overall look. To match this translucent feel, I paired it with white tights and light-colored high heels with a transparent texture, visually stretching the leg lines while keeping the clean white aesthetic unified.

I tried several different compositions and emotional expressions during this shoot. Standing on the steps with arms open, the skirt and back sash blew in the wind, capturing the relaxed dynamic movement of the clothing. Standing in the center with hands folded gave off another quiet, dignified feel. I personally adore the final shot sitting on the floor—the action of adjusting the mask felt very natural, and alongside the blue floral arrangement and crystal candlestick on the side, it created a wonderful foreground blur, smoothly integrating the character into the scene.

When shooting a character with a mysterious and aloof feel, the key is controlling facial expressions. You don't need overly dramatic expressions; instead, the gaze or the jawline angle under the veil can better convey that detachment. The high-key studio lighting made the entire frame exceptionally clean and transparent, while its soft natural texture maximized the dreamlike atmosphere of the character. Although it wasn't a huge set production, the blue-and-white color scheme and simple stair structure fully supported the costume's essence in composition and vibe. Materializing this ethereal feeling through the lens is truly rewarding, and I hope the light and shadow textures in these final shots honor the high-and-mighty, serene nature of the character's design.

In the process of recreating details, simple color schemes and clean lines actually place greater demands on costume tailoring and balance control while posing. Whether it's the semi-transparent silky fabric, the delicate headpiece, or the white mesh mask, everything strives to align with that cold aesthetic base. Reviewing the previews after wrapping up, the overall color and light atmosphere hit the mark, as the weave of blue and white truly brought plenty of pleasant surprises.
