The primary focus of this photoshoot at the Zhuhai anime convention was to faithfully recreate March 7th's iconic signature outfit. To achieve that sci-fi aesthetic seen in the original artwork, holographic reflective fabrics were chosen for the shoulder capelet and waist straps. To channel the character's energetic, bubbly personality, the wig was cut with defined layers to flow naturally with movement and wind, while the wispy bangs across the forehead were trimmed to frame the face without obstructing the eyes. Makeup centered heavily on the eyes: brilliant blue contact lenses paired with winged eyeliner and delicate false lashes brought out that bright, alert, and spirited gaze, complemented by vivid coral blush and lip tint to give the complexion a vibrant, healthy glow.

The biggest challenge during the live shoot was undoubtedly the composite bow prop. It is relatively large with noticeable heft, demanding a steady grip throughout. To convey the taut kinetic energy of drawing the bowstring, I alternated between standing and kneeling stances. Keeping my arm muscles firmly engaged required calculated leverage—otherwise, your hands will genuinely begin to tremble during prolonged shooting. Bathed in the cool cyberpunk-blue ambient lighting of the venue, the interplay of light and shadow looked incredible. In addition to the bow, I brought along her vibrant bright-blue camera prop, which added rich visual storytelling to interactive posing. The flared cut of the skirt is quite voluminous; paired with White stockings, leg garters adorned with blue bows, and black platform boots, the hem created a lovely sweeping arc with every step, though it also meant being extra mindful of wardrobe safety in crowded spaces. The convention lighting was quite complex, but the photographer was exceptionally skilled at snapshot timing—cleverly utilizing on-site fill lights and reflections from glass curtain walls to produce dynamic, cinematic captures. In particular, the shots drawing the bow and aiming into the distance nailed both the gaze and form, bringing out March 7th's confident, playful charm to the fullest.
