This Yixuan camping shoot is finally finished! Although the post description jokingly complains about why everyone always wants me in high heels, I secretly brought two pairs of shoes for shooting around the sandy tent area. When I first arrived, to safely navigate the soft, uneven ground, I wore beige cat-patterned Bread shoes. They are plush, cartoonish, supremely comfortable to walk in, and adorably cute.

However, once the camping chairs were set up and it was time to step into character, the Bread shoes broke the immersion. Yixuan's outfit leans heavily into a cool, sharp aesthetic—a black leather jacket accented with white lace cuffs and a collar bow, creating distinct structural layers. To match the commanding aura of the leather jacket, I spent plenty of effort styling the wig, sculpting clean arcs across the crown and side strands. Paired with the black face mask, expressive eye focus became doubly essential.

Yixuan's charm lies in an unhurried, calm aura of mystery. Perched on a KingCamp folding chair with tents and open blue skies around, posture adjustments were vital to capture that specific mood. After slipping into black patent high heels, the crossed-leg lines instantly became sculpted and defined; the interplay between Black stockings and glossy pumps lengthened the leg contours brilliantly under sunlight. Even though the heels sank straight into the sand and standing balance was precarious, that minor hardship was nothing compared to the visual impact achieved in the frame.

Outdoor natural light was wonderfully clean, giving the leather jacket a rich, premium sheen while putting the makeup's endurance to the test. I used defined contouring on the eye makeup paired with colored contact lenses so my gaze could still convey emotion above the mask. The easygoing looseness of a campsite formed an intriguing balance with Yixuan's signature icy demeanor.

During shooting breaks, I hurried to swap out the heels for the Bread shoes to rest on the mat. Truthfully, I adore both pairs: the Bread shoes are built for relaxing and walking outdoors, prioritizing effortless ease; the heels, on the other hand, are the ultimate styling tool indispensable for nailing the aesthetic. To capture the character's presence, high heels were an absolute must. Shooting inside and around the tent was a unique experience where the breeze, sand, and sunlight all became part of the composition, deepening my appreciation for Yixuan's stylistic versatility. I look forward to exploring different settings and multifaceted aesthetics next time.
