[Ardelia cosplay] Arknights: Endfield, Practical Detail Restoration Sharing

This time I cosplayed Ardelia from Arknights: Endfield, putting a lot of effort into the wig styling and costume details. The layering of the wig is crucial, especially the white curved horns on top of the head and the plush ball hair accessories on both sides; I used hidden hairclips to fix their positions, ensuring they wouldn't tilt while posing. The two airplane-shaped hair clips with red and blue colors are very striking and serve as signature character elements. For Makeup sharing, to fit the character's disposition, I selected warm orange-brown eyeshadow paired with matching contact lenses. The pearlescent highlighting on the lower eyelid makes the eyes look more vibrant, while the soft pink-purple blush gives a healthy complexion without being obtrusive. The costume features a light purple sleeveless top, highlighted by an oversized bow at the collar decorated with black-and-white stripes and a red buckle. I adjusted the pleat folds multiple times while tying it to keep it upright. The arm sleeves and white wrist guards come with zippers and metal buckles—a bit tedious to put on and take off—but adding the pink gradient marks on my arms filled out the visual appearance completely. Under indoor lighting, magenta fill light on the right side created clear layering along the edges of the hair strands, rendering a soft overall ambiance. Taking good photos for this outfit heavily relies on poses and gaze. Reclining on white bedsheets required staying relaxed while maintaining her iconic lazy feel. The transparent beads on the braids and the pink gradient at the tips of the hair are also neat little details that boost recognition. Mid-shoot, I tried holding a piece of purple fabric with black patterns; although it partially obscured the outfit, that casual feel suited the character setting equally well. Whenever I do an Anime cosplay for characters with so many intricate details, I do plenty of prep work beforehand, testing everything repeatedly from wig trimming to accessory positioning. I'm personally quite satisfied with the overall restoration this time, and I hope it provides useful references for fellow fans who love this character, serving as a great record of cosplay practice.
