[Cinderella cosplay] Goddess of Victory: Nikke's Cold and Dreamy Freeze-Frame

When preparing for this Cinderella cosplay outfit, I decided from the very beginning to fully present the coldness and nobility of Goddess of Victory: Nikke. This wasn't merely a simple costume change, but a deep restoration of the character's temperament.

First, regarding costume selection, I discarded traditional vivid bright blues in favor of a lighter, icy blue gradient sheer tulle. Under cold studio light sources, this color reflects an ice-and-snow texture. Breathable white lace was chosen for the inner chest lining, paired with delicate shoulder straps and semi-transparent off-the-shoulder drop sleeves, showcasing the collarbone lines beautifully. The waist girdle features a firm pure white corset design, tied in the center with a light blue ribbon—tightening the waistline while visually continuing the color logic of interwoven blue and white.

For the wig, I used long silver-white straight hair, which needed to be sufficiently silky to express a sense of lightness. The top crown was accessorized with crystal-textured rhinestones and silver branches, while blue bow hair ornaments on both sides added the finishing touch, maintaining a hint of youthful vitality amidst cold elegance. For makeup, I kept it as delicate and soft as possible; peach pink blush was chosen to add healthy color without breaking the harmony of the overall cool tones. Light gray contact lenses with slightly blue rims were selected, paired with subtle upturned eyeliner and clean aegyosal to make the gaze look deeper and more spirited.

I loved the setup for this shoot. On the left side, the photographer placed a vintage silver candelabra with flame-shaped bulbs, and on the right, a brass multi-branched candelabra. This collision of cool and warm lights was gorgeous—soft cool key light complemented by warm yellow prop accents gave the photo set an oil-painting-like texture. European Roman pillars were selected for the background, combined with large white draperies flowing down from the ceiling, making one feel as if standing on the balcony of a classical palace in 2D lore.

Regarding poses, I particularly liked the seated shots. Utilizing the height of the white pillars, I casually lifted one leg to showcase smooth leg curves. Combined with fingertips lightly brushing the skirt hem, it created a lazy yet high-end feel. The standing pose holding up the skirt best showcased the dress's inherent charm—when the multi-layered blue sheer skirt was raised upward in my hands, layered tulle and delicate lace edges fully bloomed, looking remarkably beautiful.

There were indeed a few small episodes during shooting. For instance, because the skirt edges had so much lace and tulle, they easily snagged on nearby feather props or pearl strands, so sometimes a single pose took a long time while constantly ensuring the skirt remained intact. Although the tiny rhinestones and pearl chain decorations were gorgeous, they required extra care when handling, but fortunately the final result turned out perfect. I also specifically prepared a pair of silver sequined high heels decorated with rhinestones; the heel height optimized leg proportions just right, allowing me to maintain great posture whether standing or sitting.

Particularly in Picture 1's crossed-leg seated pose, I intentionally adjusted my shoulder angle to completely expose neck and collarbone lines to the lens, while tilting my head slightly so strands of the wig naturally fell across my face. Combined with soft blush and light eyes, it made the entire frame appear both seductive and aesthetically dreamy. For accessory pairing, I selected a thin silver chain necklace that echoed the upper garment's texture, centered with a delicate transparent pendant that complemented the crystals on the headpiece. On the wrists, bracelets woven from white pearl strands and light blue ribbons added small details that, while not dead center in frame, served as vital components to elevate overall completeness.

The studio environment was relatively closed off. To eliminate skin shine, I dusted powder over my face before shooting to ensure a clean base makeup even under strong lighting. Silver-white wigs are prone to overexposure under cold light, making light control by the lighting technician crucial—illuminating hair strands without turning them into a blob of white light.

I feel this character interpretation lacked any exaggerated or forced elements; it was more about immersing myself into a state pure as ice and snow with a glass-like fragility. The garment's weightless texture paired with vintage decor imparted an artistic expression beyond the character itself to these photos. Through this set, I hope to convey Cinderella's delicate, lonely, and beautiful presence under the perspective of Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
