[Cinderella Cosplay] GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE Swimwear Outfit, Refreshing Summer by the Pool

This set of photos taken by an outdoor pool is my recent shoot that best fits the summer theme. To recreate the refreshing feel of this outfit, I specifically chose this white grid sheer mesh fabric for costumes and props. Its lightweight texture won't become heavy or sluggish when wet, maintaining a dry, crisp, and breathable feel even under the scorching sun. The knot design accentuates the waistline while preserving the character's pure yet slightly aloof demeanor.

In terms of makeup and hair styling, the soul of the character lies in her blue eyes and silver high ponytail. To prevent the hair color from looking fake or reflective under strong outdoor light, I repeatedly combed and styled the wig beforehand, keeping the ends fluffy. The high ponytail combined with straight bangs and the star-shaped hair accessory atop the head instantly pulls my temperament into the game's setting. The makeup also adapted to the strong outdoor light, featuring a slightly dry/matte base makeup paired with subtle lip color to achieve a translucent, natural effect.

On the day of the shoot, it happened to be early afternoon, when the lighting was harsh and abundant. Intense sunlight beamed directly onto the water surface and white wooden deck, posing a considerable challenge for the photographer's exposure control. We had to frequently adjust reflectors to fill in facial and body shadows, preventing highlights from overexposing and losing details. Although squinting against the sun took some effort, to capture a genuine, vibrant light quality, we decided to stick with natural light, making the interplay between skin tones and ambient colors far more dynamic.

Regarding pose structuring, we tried three different states. The seated posture mainly showcased garment tailoring and upper body proportions from a frontal perspective; the standing look-back shot captured a dynamic moment of being called unexpectedly, with the wind lifting hair tips and clothing hems; and reclining on the poolside expressed a relaxed, lazy state, using deck lines to balance body curves visually. Under intense sunlight, this white mesh cover-up casts grid-patterned shadow textures—this subtle, see-through visual effect aligns perfectly with the cool summer poolside theme of Swimwear photography.

Beyond elements of mecha and combat, this pure white, refreshing swimwear outfit feels like gifting the character a relaxing summer break. Because the coverage isn't extensive, special attention was paid to body posture during styling, avoiding stiff or shy movements to present a naturally relaxed state in Outdoor photography.

Throughout the photoshoot, the photographer paid great attention to candid shots—such as the fluttering hair strands when turning back in Photo 2, which was captured completely naturally. As the cosplayer, keeping body muscles relaxed was essential. Wearing midriff-baring and sheer garments can result in noticeable stiffness if nervous, so I took deep breaths between shooting gaps, letting myself genuinely enjoy the warm poolside breeze. Once adjusted, following guidance to find optimal lighting angles seamlessly blended bright sunshine and pool blue into the frame.

Sharing this photo set serves as a frozen moment of this summer. It records the heat under the sun, the blue-and-white color contrast of pool water, and the gentle breeze filtering through white grid sheer mesh. I am deeply satisfied with the natural texture and clean visual tone presented in this NIKKE cosplay work, and very grateful for the photographer's patient capture.
