[Youmu Konpaku cosplay] In the quiet moments of the convention corridor, capturing the agility of Touhou Project

This Golden Dolphin D1 convention was truly fulfilling, especially the Collaborative photography with @猫有演并式. The overall effect completely exceeded expectations. The photographer found a very textured spot—the corridor windowsill between two exhibition halls. Although this location is some distance from the ground and required holding the lens a bit higher during shooting, just as the photographer recommended, the combination of light, shadow, and architectural lines here is indeed very photogenic. As the performer of Youmu Konpaku, I have always pursued restoring the character's cool and agile temperament. The texture of this costume performs excellently under the lens, especially the layering of the skirt and the coordination of the color scheme, which stands out in the simple corridor background. During the shoot, we communicated many times about action details, striving to open up spatial depth within a limited space, using high angles to create an atmosphere as if the character is standing in the air. For fellow fans of Touhou Project, this method of using environmental elements to create is really high-level. Compared to simple posing, this type of Convention photography that integrates into the scene can better reflect the soul of the character. I am very grateful for the photographer's professionalism and patience, accurately recording the character state I imagined. The visual impact brought by such spatial composition and light/shadow coordination is exactly what makes Convention photography so fascinating.
