This photoshoot features Seiga Kaku from Touhou Project, a look that fuses traditional Chinese style elements with the aura of Gensokyo. The details of the costume handcrafted by Master Caicai are truly moving, from the tassels at the neckline to the embroidery on the skirt hem, as well as the lightweight tulle and ruffles; every single part exudes refinement. For the shoot, we specially chose the studio at Xiamen's Dimensional Wall. With Chinese-style furniture, a full moon backdrop, smoke effects, and a specially arranged lotus pond and bamboo shadows, the atmospheric vibe was pushed to the max for this Dimensional wall studio photoshoot.

To fit my identity as the Evil Immortal, I used talismans as props and also tried posing as if standing on the water surface. Paired with cool-toned lighting, it truly gave off a mysterious vibe of "phasing through walls." The most interesting part of Touhou series cosplays is that you can unleash your own understanding of the character. I feel that Seiga's slightly playful yet mysterious Evil Immortal temperament needs to be precisely balanced in terms of gaze and body language—neither too stiff nor too exaggerated.

For the color grading in post-processing, this set of photos leans toward cool cyan and blue tones to make the blue-and-white color scheme of the outfit stand out, while also preserving a bit of the texture from the warm light hitting the skin. My shooting partner this time, Master R-Bing, captured the shutter moments incredibly well, with every single shot catching the exact emotion I wanted. Overall, it was a highly satisfying creative process. From the initial makeup to the actual shoot and looking through the photos afterward, it gave me a more multi-dimensional perception of the character Seiga Kaku. I hope this set of photos can convey that unique charm of Eastern fantasy within the Touhou Project universe.
