A gown of green, a hint of a wicked immortal. This time, I bring you the official Anime cosplay photoshoot of Seiga Kaku from Touhou Project. To restore the character's texture, the costume utilizes a translucent aqua-blue gauze dress adorned with silver embroidery along the edges, striving to embody that aura where flowing elegance and mystery coexist. The wig features her iconic short blue hair, paired with matching silk flower hair accessories, and a lot of effort went into managing the luster of the hair strands for this Blue hair cosplay. The Chinese-style window lattices, red maple leaves, and warm yellow lantern light sources at the shooting location formed a sharp contrast with the cool blue tones of the background, perfectly fitting the character's hazy, otherworldly atmosphere. When interacting with the handheld props and talismans, especially igniting that subtle "wicked immortal" aura, I found myself completely immersed in it. The photographer, Wakaba, is excellent at capturing the essence in composition, not only accurately catching the dynamic movement of the skirt hem billowing in the wind, but also freezing the playfulness and slyness belonging to Seiga Kaku in her gaze. Although I almost "melted" on site while lying on the calligraphy scrolls on the ground to try forced perspective shots, the tension presented by the low-angle view turned out spectacularly. Every dive into cosplay is a reinterpretation of the character. From coordinating makeup details to costumes and accessories, and then aligning with the lens, the entire process is challenging yet deeply satisfying. This traditional style cosplay work is a tribute to this character, hoping to present the vivid Seiga Kaku in everyone's heart.
