This time, I am bringing you the cheongsam photo set of Chien Wu from Azur Lane. This modified cheongsam has a very strong visual impact. To pull it off perfectly, I put a lot of effort into makeup, styling, and body posture management.

Let's talk about the makeup and hairstyle first. To fit the character's feel, I specially chose reddish-brown contact lenses. The eye makeup intensified the contour sense, making the gaze look more spirited. That striking large blue flower hair accessory is actually the finishing touch of the entire styling, paired with short black hair, creating a layered sense of cold glamour combined with a bit of cuteness. The wig was also carefully trimmed and styled to ensure a perfect arc from every angle in front of the camera.

In terms of clothing, the tailoring of this blue-based, red-floral printed cheongsam is very special. The halter-neck design and the hollow-out element on the chest not only showcase the curves, but also carry a tension combining modernity and classicality. As everyone can see from the special note in the post, to comply with platform rules, the underlying base part was edited out in post-processing. In fact, standard proper clothing was worn during the shoot—everything is for the sake of restoring the character without any inappropriate guidance, so everyone can view it rationally. The lower body is paired with black lace-trimmed garter stockings and pointed-toe high heels, a combination that visually elongates the leg lines wonderfully. When shooting sitting poses, I paid special attention to the placement of my legs, like the crossed leg posture one-front-and-one-back as shown in the picture, combined with the extension of the high heels, giving the image more tension.

The coordination of props and scenes is also very important. This studio set was arranged with cherry blossom trees, a bamboo forest, and antique wooden grid screens, along with wooden standing lanterns and oil-paper umbrellas with blue bases and white flowers, creating a rich oriental classical atmosphere. During the shoot, through actions like holding a folding fan or gently touching the collar, combined with the guidance of the gaze, I tried my best to make each photo present different emotions. The photographer's lighting also provided a huge help; the side-backlight nicely outlined the character's edges, giving the picture a more three-dimensional feel while clearly displaying the texture of the stockings and the printing details of the outfit.

The shooting process this time was extremely joyful. From early preparations to the final presentation, every detail was filled with everyone's hard work and dedication. I hope to convey the character's unique charm to everyone through this set of photos.
