This Silver Wolf wig really makes me both love and hate it. The bangs were cut too thick and the texture is stiff, blocking my eyes super much during the shoot. Several times I almost couldn't see the lens clearly, relying entirely on feel to find the camera angle. Fortunately, the overall makeup and styling supported the character's lazy and cool vibe. There are tons of details in the costume; the blue-and-black spliced leather jacket has an amazing texture, with a circle of white fur collar at the neckline, making it look both futuristic and slightly rebellious. The silver choker on the neck and the goggles on the forehead are the soul of the outfit, allowing me to instantly enter the character state once worn. The white crop top and the blue miniskirt with reflective material inside, combined with the leg straps and band-aid stickers, completely restore the character's casual and playful setting.
The shooting venue this time was the Light & Shadow Philosophy Studio, and the entire environment was filled with neon signs and arcade equipment. To fit the character's hacker identity, we specially chose a scene with old-fashioned radios, oil drums, and a red telephone booth. The purplish-red main light source hit my body, matching the graffiti in the background, presenting a rich Cyberpunk cosplay atmosphere in the entire frame. During the shoot, photographer Xiao Luo gave me a lot of guidance on poses. To show the focus while playing games, I sat in front of the arcade machine or on the speaker, holding a prop gun, posing with various controller operation postures. Although it looked lazy, the core was actually quite tiring, because while maintaining body balance, I also had to take care of leg line presentation and facial expression management.
Post-processing is the highlight of this set of official photos. To give the image more visual sense of a hacker intrusion, we added many holographic projection frames, hexagonal grids, and game UI interfaces. Those pop-up windows displaying STAGE CLEAR, Combo, and Perfect data make people feel like they are truly immersed in some virtual gaming space. Because the special effects were added in post-production, I was entirely acting against the air during the shoot, pretending to touch the screen and operate a holographic keyboard. I had to maintain the fluency and precision of hand movements, otherwise it would look very awkward after adding effects. However, seeing the final photos, the technological sense interwoven with data streams and pixel styles was truly exhilarating. Special thanks to Xiao Luo for their efforts in makeup, styling, and post-processing, and also thanks to the studio for providing such a perfect venue, allowing everyone to see such a three-dimensional Silver Wolf.
