The complete form of this costume design is finally ready. Compared to previous attempts, the details this time are much more refined, with a main color palette of red, white, and black paired with extensive lace ruffles creating a strong visual impact. The bunny ears on the hat and the golden bell at the neckline are core elements; to present the texture of the original design, considerable thought and effort went into recreating accessories and props.
Two focal lengths were used during shooting to convey different moods. The full-body shot utilized a 50mm lens with a small aperture to detail the complete structure of the entire outfit, including the pleated textures of the skirt hem, the combination of leg rings and White stockings, and the echoing rabbit patterns on the wide sleeves. The other close-up switched to a 75mm lens with a wide aperture, paired with a blurred black glove in the foreground to create an interactive sensation of reaching out toward the camera. This variation in depth of field gave the flat 2D anime setting a more vibrant, three-dimensional presence in these Cosplay photos.
For makeup, pink-toned eyeshadow and colored contacts were chosen, complemented by small red hearts dotted on both cheeks to match the character's playfulness. Because the costume is quite heavy and the wide sleeves somewhat restrict movement when posing, many poses required continuous adjustment of balance and center of gravity. However, when the flash combined with the white backdrop to produce a clean, luminous lighting effect, all the hard work became completely worthwhile. Although the pure white background lacked intricate scene props, it allowed full focus on the texture and presentation of the outfit, which is a major advantage of studio shoots. During this shoot, repeated adjustments were also made to the dynamic span of the wide sleeves and the folds of the skirt when seated, striving to deliver a lively, animated feel even in static photos. The shooting process went very smoothly, and I look forward to the next creation.
