[Himeno Sena cosplay] Voice of the Stars Under the Night Sky, Love Awaiting Delivery

When the night is deep and quiet, the city streets exhibit a texture completely different from daytime. The original intention behind shooting this photo set was to recreate that lonely yet somewhat stubborn atmosphere of Sena on the night streets. A tremendous amount of preparation went into this Himeno Sena cosplay beforehand. The bright orange wig was chosen, the blunt bangs were trimmed, and the white bow hair ornament on top of the head had its angle adjusted multiple times, striving to faithfully restore the character's soft, cute, yet slightly aloof traits.

In terms of costume, the loose pink hooded sweatshirt and plaid pleated skirt are the soul of the look. The small embroidery patch on the sweatshirt is packed with exquisite details, paired with the white-bottom sailor collar and dark blue slender bow underneath, instantly bringing out the overall youthful vibe. The lower half is paired with Black stockings and black glossy leather shoes. Black stockings in this outfit brilliantly accentuate the leg lines, which, combined with the leather shoes under the cold white streetlights, creates a rather impressive texture. The vintage flip phone held in hand is the finishing touch; this prop instantly pulls people back into that somewhat nostalgic setting.

On the night of the shoot, the street's light sources were rather complex, but for night portraits, they proved to be a powerful weapon for stunning shots. When coordinating with the photographer, we used specialized fill lights to brighten the face, ensuring the clarity and transparency of the catchlights. The wig would catch a bit of reflection under the lights, so the lighting angles required continuous micro-adjustments. To portray Sena's aloof, dazed, and introverted expression, I experimented with different micro-expressions and body language. The crossed-leg standing posture in the second photo actually tests center-of-gravity control quite a bit, but to showcase the Black stockings and leg shapes naturally, the slightly taut standing posture surprisingly added an extra aura of presence.

The movements in this photo set are all relatively restrained, relying primarily on gazes and interaction with hand props to convey emotion. Every time I cosplay, the most enjoyable moment is when the character truly comes to life within me. The character of Himeno Sena herself carries many endearing traits that tug at the heartstrings; the frozen frame of holding a phone and waiting in the night is also my own small interpretation of this character. I hope this set of photos allows everyone to experience the unique atmosphere belonging to that night.
