This time I bring you Zai Ji's extreme skin "Wandering Firefly" from NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. Getting straight to the point, the core of this photo set lies in recreating that cold, fierce yet hidden murderous trait of the character. The texture of the dark blue gradient fabric of the costume is highly sophisticated, and the metal ornaments on the chest combined with the dark leather armor around the waist reflect rich layers under the cool light source. The makeup features ice-blue contact lenses and subtle smoky eyeshadow to emphasize the sharpness of her gaze. The long silvery-white twin tails were styled with plenty of volume, and the fluttering strands of hair add a dynamic sense of flow to the frame. Prop preparation was the top priority for this shoot, as the textures of the chains and daggers had to look authentic. We physically set up several thick black iron chains on site, and later simulated visual special effects of auroras and water wave refraction to enhance the artistic conception of the character being submerged underwater or in a cold pool. The blade of the dagger underwent careful weathering and matte treatment, and holding it in my hand provided a satisfying weight, ensuring the realism of the weapon in the final photos. During the shoot, I also purposely stood barefoot on the wet stone surface. The intersection of my feet and the water ripples made the character's "wildness" and dangerous aura stand out even more. The shooting environment was chosen in a dark-toned scene with a deep blue cave style, using top and side lights to outline the silhouette. To highlight the oppressive feeling of "Wandering Firefly", I tried different movements to showcase the tension of being bound by chains and then breaking free. Especially in the high-reaching blade-raising and standing poses, it required constant adjustment of my body's center of gravity and the exertion of arm muscles. This set of movements heavily tested my control in front of the camera. Adjusting the costume's fit beforehand and cooperating with the lighting were also key. I hope the final Game character cosplay results can faithfully recreate that cold and ruthless female assassin image in everyone's hearts. The props on set were actually very heavy, but after seeing the light and shadow atmosphere of the final results, I truly feel that all the hard work was worth it.
