Regarding this Ye Shunguang styling, I felt it hit the right spot from the very initial trial run. The wig styling features white hair on top with orange-red gradient tips, paired with signature small red horns and a bow headpiece, giving the overall look a fresh anime vibe infused with the cold sharpness of a combat unit. Wearing this gear at the convention, my makeup was specially tailored to match her original design with emphasized red-toned eye makeup—especially the red embellishments at the eye corners, which brought out that sharp, fierce gaze in front of the lens.

To align the outfit's texture with her combat style, I chose glossy white fabrics paired with black strappings at the neckline and waist, creating immediate visual depth. Props were a top priority during prep: holding that silver-gray wave-pattern long sword was genuinely heavy, so I repeatedly adjusted my leverage points to strike comfortable, stable poses. Fortunately, laying down a white plush rug on site not only accented the palette, but also allowed kneeling and crouching poses to be executed more naturally without worrying about dirtying the outfit or distorting poses.

This photo release actually had many fun moments. As I wrote in the caption, everyone was laughing and enjoying shooting ZZZ. The convention floor was very crowded; the blurred figures in the background, high industrial trusses, flashing overhead lights, and side softboxes gave this shoot a strong documentary feel. Under complex ambient lighting, the photographer's lighting skill was remarkable: high-key photography made the whole frame look translucent without sacrificing clothing texture, while controlling the silver-gray prop reflection perfectly.

I should also mention the character's movement design. Ye Shunguang's crisp, clean combat posture in the game requires stronger body language in real-life cosplay to sustain tension before the lens. Therefore, I deliberately maintained focused expressions, matching my eye focus to camera movements. Whether letting one hand hang naturally while holding the sword with the other, holding the sword across my front, or raising it overhead, I strove to find comfortable leverage points so the shot looked cool without appearing rigid.

This set didn't intentionally chase fancy backgrounds, concentrating focus on the character herself and the clothing/prop details. The white main tone and the cool aesthetic of the silver sword, accented by red hair tips and red totem pattern markings on the leg as vibrant highlights, created a visually pleasing balance. The convention atmosphere was fantastic; bringing the character alive in front of the lens in a real-world setting was a truly fulfilling experience. Every photo in this release was carefully selected. Thanks to the photographer's hard work capturing those moments, freezing the styling and dynamic poses perfectly.
