When selecting the location, considering that this outfit carries heavy bridal elements, I specifically chose a garden corner where white roses bloomed beautifully, avoiding chaotic architecture and complex background lines so the main focus remained on the dress's layered texture. The light blue and white tulle dress offers wonderful light translucency under natural daylight; with a light-colored lining, the overlaying blue tulle and veil create a very clear translucent effect when layered, which is a key detail to watch out for during real-life shoots.

During makeup application, I paid special attention to the depth and softness of the eye makeup. Since the veil and bangs naturally obstruct part of the face, drawing eyeliner too dark or heavy would easily look harsh. The overall color palette followed a bright and clear direction; when trimming the wig, I thinned it slightly so the hair strands maintained a natural curve while walking outdoors rather than sticking flat to my face. Hair ornaments featured white hair flowers and blue ribbons, gently fluttering with the veil when moving, giving subtle hints of dynamism to the still photos.

During the shoot, I realized the veil was actually quite tricky to control—it's lightweight but easily shifts out of place, and a slight gust of wind can blow it right onto your face. To secure it, I used numerous fine bobby pins anchored along the edge of the wig. The head-tilt-up pose in Photo 1 was actually an angle specifically chosen to prevent the veil from obscuring my face, which happened to highlight the jawline and neckline under the light, lengthening the overall visual proportion alongside the flower bouquet to convey an understated yet steadfast emotional expression. In the full-body Photo 2, I tried gently lifting one leg; this movement allowed the skirt to flare naturally and revealed the texture of the stockings through the thin tulle, making the light purple over-the-knee socks complement the white and blue main palette. This single-leg stance not only elongates leg proportions in the frame but also keeps the overall pose from looking overly stiff.

It was actually drizzling on the day of the shoot with high air humidity, which unexpectedly turned into a wonderful natural filter. Reviewing the raw photos later, I found that diffuse reflection made both skin and fabric gloss look extremely soft; that's why we refrained from intentionally using harsh reflectors, preserving instead this softly muted shadow texture that highlights the inherent details of both character and costume.

Regarding prop pairing, the white bouquet in hand featured smaller buds accompanied by green leaves; oversized blossoms would have otherwise overwhelmed facial focal points. The light purple long socks on my feet echoed colorwise with the blue head ribbon above; though the color variance was subtle, it prevented the murky grey tone often seen in cold-toned imagery, making the character styling feel much more breathing and fresh. Pearl chains and blue bows on the dress were meticulously fastened to ensure they wouldn't shift out of alignment or obscure details during outdoor movement.

The core philosophy behind this Cosplay photography shoot was not to pose for difficult or overly dramatic actions, but rather to convey the Genshin Impact character's innate restraint and focus through natural, relaxed body language. Keeping standing postures and hand gestures slightly restrained, with eyes not overly sharp but rather maintaining a level gaze or mild daydreaminess, successfully communicated that feeling of immersion in the moment. Whenever shooting a Garden exterior with extensive white tulle and intricate layering, my biggest worry is getting clothes dirty or snagging threads outdoors; thankfully, solid protective measures and prop checks were done beforehand. Color grading in post-processing didn't involve massive overhauls, focusing primarily on slightly dimming and unifying background noise colors. Seeing the raw photos on the computer, the overall ambience perfectly fit that humid, cool outdoor environment scented with flowers, allowing the emotion and texture of the entire photo set to emerge effortlessly.
