[Pardofelis cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd Convention photos drop

For this comic con, I cosplayed Pardofelis from Honkai Impact 3rd. Just as the copy says, since she truly isn't cut out for serious combat, I avoided overly aggressive combat poses during the shoot. Instead, I wanted to bring out Pardo's usual laid-back yet cleverly mischievous vibe.

I spent a lot of time preparing the gear beforehand for these Convention photos. The fluffy animal ears and tail are the very soul of the look, and the wig styling was completely trimmed again—especially the braids along both sides of my cheeks, which I repositioned multiple times. The outfit features an off-the-shoulder black design paired with a white choker and capelet. For the lower half, I styled White stockings with black lace-up boots accented by golden geometric patterns. The overall black, white, and gold color scheme is actually quite tricky to shoot under dim convention lighting, so it really came down to the photographer, Guanjia, finding the right angles.

I have to give a special shout-out to the weapon prop in my hands. Even though Pardo's combat power is modest in the original lore, this prop weapon turned out surprisingly heavy. During the shoot, I had to hold or cradle it with one or both hands while keeping my center of balance steady. That seated pose on the floor might look casual in the picture, but keeping one leg outstretched and the other bent while bearing the weapon's weight with my upper body had my core working furiously. To match the floating gold coins and purple gemstone visual effects, I tried this pose several times before finally capturing that sweet spot where both my hair and weapon were positioned perfectly.

The convention hall floor had that metallic non-slip pattern, which felt quite chilly and dug into my knees when kneeling directly on it. Friction between the White stockings and the boots against the floor also risked snagging, so I was constantly nervous throughout the shoot. However, seeing the dynamic mid-air floating gold coins in the final photo made all the effort feel completely worthwhile. In terms of facial expressions, I softened any harshness in my gaze, sticking to a gentler, subtly innocent look to match her non-combatant, slice-of-life persona.

Convention floors are typically noisy with rather flat lighting; pulling off great shots under these conditions relies heavily on solid prep and post-production effects. I absolutely adore the atmosphere of this photo set: the weighty metallic prop brings a touch of fantasy, the black-and-white outfit keeps it sleek, and the White stockings beautifully accentuate the leg lines, balancing character accuracy with visual punch. It doesn't matter if she isn't built for battle—shining at your own pace is what truly counts.
