[Tachibana Nozomi cosplay] The Railway Twin of Blue Archive – Sporty Style Selfie Record - Image 1

This time I cosplayed Tachibana Nozomi from Blue Archive; this Railway Twins look is truly full of energy. The wig features light green twintails, and the iconic green spiral hair accessory on top of the head was custom-made by hand. I shaped it using light clay, spray-painted it, and added a thin iron wire support inside to maintain its three-dimensional curve. After putting it on, just slightly adjusting the position of the twintails perfectly recreates the silhouette from the game's official art. The elf ears are made of silicone, attached to the auricle with skin-toned glue and flattened at the edges; when blending them with the wig's bangs, care must be taken not to leave any flaws showing. The sporty short-sleeved top is a loose-fit style. The black borders at the neckline and cuffs feature double-row stitching, and the hem was intentionally cut with an irregular frayed edge to make the exposed midriff look more natural. The black athletic shorts have white stripes on the sides, and a matching large ribbon bow is tied at the waistband; when tying it, it needs to be a full, plump knot to look playful enough. For the white over-the-knee thigh-high socks, I chose a thickened version; the anti-slip silicone strips ensure that they won't roll down or warp when crouching or raising arms. The shoot took place in front of the full-length mirror in my bedroom using the phone's rear camera. To fit the entire body and the hair accessory on top into the frame, I had to stretch my arm up high. Holding the phone with one hand while controlling the angle caused my shoulders to raise up unconsciously, so it took quite a few attempts to find the perfect balance of posture and force. The reflections in the mirror were a bit cluttered, so in post-processing, I slightly lowered the shadows and kept the natural light from the window, giving the brightness of the white clothing a softer look. The core temperament of this character is a lazy yet slightly tsundere vibe, so I didn't intentionally smile; slightly downcast eyes actually fit the character design much better. Regarding props, I later took extra close-up shots of holding a train ticket, but for this share, I'll post this half-body selfie first. The fabric of the clothes doesn't reflect light under the lens, and the folds are natural, making the whole look very clean and crisp. Honestly, pulling off this kind of casual, sporty look tests one's physique and posture much more than a gorgeous gown; the waist and abdomen lines need to be tightened up, and the shoulders and back must be opened up, otherwise the short top would look sloppy. This was my first time doing a twintails styling. After dividing the hair into two strands, they had to be coiled into a specific curve, making it a bit heavy, but I am very satisfied with the results. I chose the white, black, and green color combination because Nozomi's palette is highly distinct, remaining easily recognizable even under indoor lighting. Every time I cosplay a Blue Archive character, I carefully verify the costume details; the width of the stripes on these shorts is completely accurate to the original design. One advantage of mirror selfies is being able to see the overall effect in real time; compared to using a tripod and remote control, this method makes it much easier to capture the most relaxed moment. This final picture is the version with the most natural expression and gesture; the hair didn't cover my face too much, and the greyish-green eyeshadow of the eye makeup is clearly visible.
