This shoot, dominated by white and aqua blue tones, is a creation I have been most invested in recently. Throughout the setup of the overall styling and scene, I hoped to capture the paradoxical yet pure traits of the character. For the outfit, the white base paired with the lake blue and deep sea blue color-blocked skirt hem, along with high-saturation white boots and slender leg straps, gave the visual focus a sense of layering amidst purity. The detailed lace and gold accessory embellishments broke the monotony of the single color, presenting an elegant and lightweight texture.

The shooting environment was deliberately chosen to be a pure white European classical studio. The lines of the colonnades, the reflections of the crystal candlesticks, and those hollowed-out iron gates constructed a space with a sense of breathing. In post-processing, we added visual special effects of transparent jellyfish and bubbles to the first image, which, combined with the soft halo of cool tones, created a mysterious atmosphere as if being in a quiet seabed. Of course, the pure white scene without special effects was equally charming. Especially in the group of photos in image 3, simply relying on the light, the shadows of the pillars, and the relaxed movements of the character was enough to maximize the tension of the entire frame.

When entering the character's state, the line that kept echoing in my mind was "When I am with you, I am no longer poison, but myself." This actually became the core tone of this set of photos. The character herself may carry a certain deep or dangerous temperament, but we chose the most lightweight and bright way for the visual presentation. Instead of deliberately emphasizing heaviness, we used dynamic and relaxed body language to express a sense of "healing" in a specific intimate relationship. The exact moment the skirt hem was completely spread out, or the instant a single leg was raised high and frozen, was actually breaking some kind of constraint.

Regarding the presentation of these photos, I would like to thank the photographer who helped me control the focal length throughout the process, as he excellently captured the light and dark boundary of the character. The post-processing of image 1 and image 2 was completed by me independently, striving to achieve a balance between cold clarity and translucency in color grading, preserving the skin texture while unifying the environmental colors. On the other hand, the post-processing of image 3 was handed over to another retoucher, who gave this photo a sharper and crisper contrast, making the luster of the blue fabric more three-dimensional and full. The close coordination of pre- and post-production allowed these photos, though shot indoors, to possess a breathing room akin to being under outdoor natural light.

The few photos in the collection each have a different emotional profile. There is composure when facing the camera, free and relaxed supine posture, and also interactions filled with playfulness and confidence. There are no overly forced poses, only the vividness that flows naturally after internalizing the character. As a creator deeply involved both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, I feel that letting the viewers perceive the softness and power within the character is far more important than purely recreating a certain look. This is what I most wanted to express in this set of images, and it is also the truest touch this character brought to me.
