I shot this set of photos for Katricia, specifically choosing a real-life European vintage style spiral staircase setting. The blonde hair and blue eyes paired with the iconic Elf ears and blue thorny unicorn horn provide very high recognizability. The blue and black outfit has a sharp cut, and the long white and blue ribbons add a great sense of layering. During the shoot, I mainly tried sitting poses on the stairs and standing actions holding the sword. Sitting on the patterned carpet allowed the blue hair ornaments to echo the clothes, and stretching out the leg lines enhanced the tension of the frame. That blue Polearm prop feels quite heavy in hand; combined with the sword-swinging posture, I hoped to restore the character's cold yet firm temperament. The indoor warm light formed a nice contrast with the cool colors of the costume, resulting in a clean texture. The headwear was actually quite challenging to wear, and I had to be careful to prevent collisions when going up and down the stairs. Fortunately, the cooperation on site was relatively smooth, and we captured a few ideal dynamic moments. The overall effect of the final photos is cold and a bit sharp, counting as a heartfelt presentation of this character.
