[Cartethyia Cosplay] Wuthering Waves The breeze by the river and the veil of oath

Today, I shot this set of Cartethyia photos on the boardwalk by the river. A lot of thought went into it right from the wig styling; because Cartethyia's hair has a specific braided structure, a lot of hairspray and bobby pins were used in the wig styling to ensure it could maintain a certain sense of shape even in the wind. The blue thorn-shaped accessory on the forehead was handmade using shrink plastic, paired with Elf ears, and the blue teardrop pendant on the ears would sway slightly when walking, adding a sense of liveliness.
In terms of makeup, to match the character's temperament, the base makeup was kept quite translucent, the eye makeup emphasized the clarity of the blue contact lenses, and patterns were deliberately drawn on the forehead. The outer corners of the eyes were not intentionally elongated, maintaining a calm and somewhat detached gaze.
The details of the clothing are extremely rich. The cutout design of the black halter top required very careful position adjustment, and the golden cross and geometric ring metal pieces on the front are the absolute priority for texture. The most troublesome part was the white-and-gold patterned drapes on the shoulders; their draping feel is very strong, but during outdoor shooting by the river, the wind always blew the gauze flying around. To capture the moment when the drapes fluttered up, I walked back and forth along the boardwalk holding the gauze, but this dynamic feel happened to match the windy natural environment by the water. There are actually no very complicated decorations on the legs, just gold chain adornments, paired with bare legs and transparent strap high-heeled sandals, which visually elongates the leg lines. Walking on the wooden boardwalk by the river requires maintaining the elegance of the posture while steadying the center of gravity, which is indeed physical work.
The weather today was great, with blue skies and white clouds. The sunlight hitting the white fabric created a reflective effect, and the city skyline and cross-river bridge in the background served as a backdrop, creating a wonderful collision feeling between modern metropolis and fantasy elements. The color contrast of the wooden boardwalk and blue railings also complemented the outfit very well.
To showcase the full picture of this outfit, I tried different standing poses and walking movements. Although stepping stably in high-heeled sandals on the wooden floor required special attention, for the sake of the overall frame coordination, I still insisted on shooting complete full-body photos. This character has a rather cold yet sacred temperament, so in expression management, I didn't smile much, but tried to maintain a state of gazing forward.
Actually, when shooting clothes with many layers outdoors, special attention must be paid to the risk of exposure when the skirt hem is blown by the wind; fortunately, the inner wear is relatively safe, and the outer layer of white gauze is long enough. The light passing through the translucent gauze material hit the skin, and the texture was very delicate. To highlight the body lines and the layers of the clothing, I tried the action of gently pulling up the side gauze with both hands, which can make the waist and leg proportions more obvious, and the pairing of transparent high heels also makes the overall visual center of gravity quite comfortable.
Although the whole process was somewhat energy-consuming, seeing the bright sky and clear clothing patterns in the camera made me feel that all these adjustments and waiting were worth it. The matching degree between this styling and the scene is very high, making it a wonderful Outdoor photography experience.
