This phoenix-themed styling for Suisui from Wuthering Waves truly required immense dedication in garment details. The golden feather motifs and semi-sheer black shoulder sleeve splicing on the costume demanded very meticulous wearing and adjustments to ensure layered, three-dimensional depth on camera. The wig features a pale blonde tone with trimmed bangs and braided accents, which, paired with reddish-purple cosmetic contact lenses, seamlessly fit the aloof yet subtly divine aura of the original setting.

The handheld props were the focal point of the shoot. To give the colorful bird model held high in my left hand an organic, wing-spreading dynamism, it was internally reinforced with a delicate wire armature. Keeping my arm suspended steadily in midair for extended takes proved to be quite the physical challenge, but the resulting frames made it completely worthwhile. The translucent water-ripple fan prop held in my right hand refracted vibrant, iridescent sheens under the lights, harmonizing exquisitely with the massive glowing orange orb in the background.

The costume's design is striking: the high-slit skirt and black safety shorts beautifully flatter the leg lines during wide, dynamic seated poses. To align with the theme of 'everlasting rebirth,' I explored numerous expansive and subtly powerful stances during the session. Dark brown gloves adorned both hands, complemented by pearl bracelets and golden accessories around the wrists to enrich every nuance of detail.

The studio set was styled with authentic thematic fidelity, featuring antique wooden armchair sets, low tea tables, and a floral-and-bird painted table runner decorated with calligraphy brushes, celadon teacups, and red coral branches. The orange-yellow chiffon drapes and glowing butterfly props in the background cultivated a warm, dreamy light-and-shadow atmosphere. The photographer primarily utilized the warm yellow ambient sources paired with a wide-aperture lens to cast gorgeous rim lighting across my face and legs. Because the fabrics are relatively light and airy, highlight areas required precise light control to prevent overexposure. Overall, this Game character cosplay shoot achieved deeply satisfying results in prop restoration and atmospheric storytelling.
