When shooting this set in the white dress, balancing the sword prop with the overall lighting demanded the most effort. The spear prop features a cool white and ice-blue color scheme with a relatively high center of gravity, requiring my upper arm to guide the forearm to stabilize the line. To achieve a seamless feel when drawing the blade, I repeatedly practiced the forward lunge and turn. The tailored cut of the costume fits snugly; the black neck ribbon and golden insignia anchor the white silhouette, while the sheer outer tulle and skirt hem needed to flutter without tangling. We staged the shoot beside a church setting with pink openwork patterns to complement the white, pink, and blue palette. Posing sideways with the sword accentuated leg lines and thigh-ring accents, creating a composition that retained elegance with dramatic tension. Re-sheathing tested arm posture, so we utilized a high-angle shot to emphasize an upright stance.
Crafting the look for a favorite character requires rich layering. To replicate the pearly sheen of her light Pink hair, I layered two wigs of different tones and clipped light blue gradient hairpieces at the ends to match the feather headpiece. Eye makeup featured shimmering pale-gold lenses, slender eyeliner, and defined lower lashes to keep the gaze clear against the pink background. Holding the white-and-blue gradient spear complemented the cool-toned attire. Prior to shooting, anti-reflective treatment was applied to the weapon so it appeared sharper against the pink setting. The black neck ribbon and thigh bands balanced the large fields of white, producing sharp contrast that highlighted the character's presence, while the Stockings and thigh rings caught the rim light cleanly.
During retouching, I preserved hair definition and metallic sheens rather than over-smoothing the skin, keeping a natural filmic texture. I wanted the pink tones to enhance a cool yet dangerous ambiance while matching the stained-glass motifs. Rim lighting outlined the subject with striking depth, yielding an expressive final set.
