This shoot sought to recreate the aloof, majestic temperament of Cartethyia Fleurdelys from Wuthering Waves. Regarding the garment design, the black-and-blue bodysuit demanded strict precision in tailored patterning. The gilded accents along the trim and metallic hardware underwent numerous fittings to balance wearable comfort with visual impact. The waist cutouts required invisible internal reinforcement to prevent slipping while maintaining graceful contours. The silver and blue cascading leg tassels added visual depth, though their weight shifted my center of gravity, requiring deliberate steps to accommodate the movement.
The Claymore prop was the soul of the look—and the most grueling to wield. Sourcing the right materials was critical to showcase the silver-gray metallic sheen of the blade and the intricate vine filigree across the hilt. The sword was immensely heavy; gripping it one- or two-handed across high-tension postures demanded intense stamina, yet battling that physical heft naturally channeled the character's unyielding, solitary presence. The light-blonde wig was customized with subtle blue gradient ends, trimmed for realistic hair flow. Elf ears, a golden unicorn horn, and a crown of azure thorns sculpted her silhouette beneath carefully diffused studio lighting.
The set embraced a dominant blue palette featuring white wrought-iron beds, cascading blue drapery, and pale blue hydrangeas to craft a serene, Fantasy style cosplay sanctum. Lounging barefoot on the daybed with crossed legs accentuated elongated lines, with the Claymore laid horizontally across the lap for balanced visual weight. A high overhead perspective framing extended leg lines demanded fierce expression control to maintain her commanding aura, culminating in a deeply rewarding tribute to the holy maiden.
