[Keqing cosplay] Yuheng of the Qixing in Genshin Impact: Swift and Resolute Moments

Sharing this set of Keqing photos today! We prepared countless details for this shoot, from garment fabrics to prop finishes, all to faithfully recreate Lady Yuheng's signature presence.

While this outfit features her classic violet and black palette, we chose a delicate shimmer lace fabric paired with blue-violet sheer streamers, evoking the sharp, dynamic swiftness of the Electro element in motion. For the wig, I meticulously styled the cat-ear buns and accented them with pearls and blue ribbon bows to inject a touch of playfulness. On the makeup front, the focus was firmly on the violet eyes and matching eye contours, aiming to convey her aloof yet resolute gaze.

The shooting process was genuinely a test of physical stamina. To capture Keqing's swift, decisive combat style, I took on several high-intensity poses. The kneeling strike required full core tension to maintain balance. The high-kick split pose truly tested my flexibility, but the final shot delivered fantastic kinetic tension. The frame with both hands crossed on the sword hilt over the chest was intended to portray an poised readiness to strike. Many of these movements demanded counterbalancing the weight of the weapon—holding that sword for extended periods made my wrists quite sore.

For the studio portraits, we utilized clean white and light-blue backdrops to accentuate her sharp, pristine lines. For the scenic environmental sets, we built a wooden archway interwoven with cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, scattering a few green Slime plushies around to add a cozy slice of life from Teyvat. I loved how light caught the texture of the sheer fabric, which, paired with the semi-sheer Stockings and leg details, added rich visual depth.

Post-processing took considerable effort as well, primarily to dial in a crisp, luminous tone that made the black-and-blue color-blocking pop vibrantly. Every cosplay feels like a brand-new journey—deeply analyzing a character's mannerisms and expressions, then translating them through the camera lens is an immensely rewarding process. From costume tailoring to final frame compositions, everyone poured immense energy into this project, and I am thrilled to present a set that balances empowering strength with delicate grace.
