Today, shooting this duty-themed set of photos in the classroom while wearing Formidable's uniform paired with Polaroids really matched the scene perfectly.

Let's start with the outfit. The dark blue sailor uniform top fits extremely well, with classic white stripes at the collar and a gathered hem that gives the piece a strong sense of structure. The red ribbon tie is a highlight; it needs to be adjusted symmetrically so it doesn't look messy. The white over-the-knee socks stop right above the knee, flattering the leg lines well. Paired with black uniform leather shoes, a complete outfit comes together. Because the uniform naturally carries a youthful Sailor uniform JK aura, matched with the large black bow on the wig, the overall visual presentation feels very rich. The bow is large, and while I occasionally worried it might block the view, slightly tilting my head creates a fantastic look in the frame.

Next, let's talk about reproducing the hair color. To match the original character's image, I used a white wig. White wigs are actually quite challenging in terms of lighting and post-processing, especially under direct or backlighting indoors, where color cast easily occurs. So before shooting, I made sure to smooth out the wig and tease the top for volume, so even with the large bow, the hairstyle wouldn't look flat. The bangs are straight-cut, trimmed with a few soft strands to look more natural and lively.

As for makeup, I used red contact lenses to sharpen the gaze. The eye makeup used a pinkish eyeshadow base with flesh-toned shadows swept on the lower eyelid to create an innocent, slightly flushed, and misty look under the eyes. Paired with blush in a matching tone, the whole makeup looks very soft and cute. The lip makeup features a sheer matte nude tone to maintain harmony with the overall color scheme, avoiding any jarring contrast from overly heavy makeup. This makeup style also perfectly fits the bright environment of a classroom.

To make these photos feel storytelling, I specially designed some everyday actions like being in class. For example, sitting on a desk, straightening the ribbon, or leaning down to look at the camera. The first and fourth photos capture this state well. Crossing or raising legs naturally displays the color details of the over-the-knee socks. The black uniform shoes creating a light-and-dark contrast against the wooden desks are also an important visual element. Meanwhile, this slightly lazy sitting posture blends into the scene with the blackboard, lockers, and windowsill, presenting a relaxed and casual "daily vibe".

Besides the photos from the main camera, I also took several Polaroid shots. Just like those Polaroid pictures in the set, their color tone is retro and filled with lifestyle atmosphere. With handwritten "2026 1.31" dates and doodle decorations, this project transcends a simple character showcase and feels more like a complete diary entry of the character in class.

Additionally, a companion wearing a black wig and red cardigan appeared in the photos. Although this shoot mainly focused on solo content, interacting with a partner in the classroom—like making heart gestures together toward the camera or kneeling on the floor to pose—made the whole atmosphere much more enjoyable. I feel the charm of Anime cosplay lies not only in recreating the character, but also in completing these creative processes with people who share your passion. We even wrote the date and commemorative symbols in the corner of the Polaroid paper.

From a professional perspective, uniform shoots test the coordination between scene and movement. I deliberately avoided rigid standing poses; whether sitting sideways or making subtle hand gestures, everything makes the frame come alive. The combination of white socks and skirt hem is the visual highlight of this outfit, so I paid close attention to presenting these two parts in composition and positioning. The cross-section of the ponytail hairstyle and the edges of the bow actually produce wonderful light-transmitting effects under backlighting. Given another chance, shooting more sets when sunlight shines obliquely near the window might yield even more marvelous light and shadow effects.

The classroom environment can be a bit cluttered, but as long as you find good angles and use desks and chairs as framing while blurring the background windows and lockers, the main subject stands out well. The set of Classroom photos taken today exceeded my expectations; whether in terms of atmosphere or uniform detail presentation, it's very satisfying.
