Actually, a lot of thought went into the details of this maid outfit today. The whole outfit features a classic black-and-white color scheme, with the neckline, cuffs, and skirt hem densely covered in lace and ruffles. The headpiece uses a design similar to a nun's veil, with black cross embroidery on the hanging fabric, a black bow tied at the neckline, and the red heart-shaped brooch in the middle was specially chosen by me to echo the character's eyes. The wig is silver-white long straight hair with a slight gray tone, and the blunt bangs and sideburns are trimmed to fit the face shape closely. The makeup focus is placed on the eye makeup: red contact lenses matched with reddish-pink eyeshadow and elongated eyeliner, heavier blush on the cheeks, and a glossy orange-pink lip glaze, making the overall makeup look quite rich so that it won't appear flat under strong flashes.

This time cooperating with teacher Lin Su (set studio version), the arrangement of the set studio was very meticulous. There is a warm-yellow background wall, white Roman columns next to it, and a large amount of artificial plants. The dark wood carved round table is covered with cakes, ice cream cups, and tea sets, and the ground is covered with golden silk, scattered with many red-and-black artificial rose petals. To fit the maid theme, I kept holding that yellow circular plush toy in my hand, which felt quite cute when posing. During the shoot, the teacher let me try different poses. The one sitting on a chair turning sideways with lowered head was mainly to showcase the leg lines, with white over-the-knee socks (white stockings) paired with black lace trim and black high heels, providing a very good visual extension. The standing V-sign pose was to showcase the fit of the entire outfit, with a convention pass hanging at the waist, adding a bit of a slice-of-life feel.

Set studio shooting requires constantly adjusting lighting and camera positions. Warm light hitting the black-and-white clothes easily makes the white look yellowish, so during shooting breaks, we frequently checked the white balance with the teacher. The skirt hem has quite a few layers, so when sitting down, it needs to be arranged little by little to prevent ugly wrinkles. High heels will make your feet sore after wearing them for a long time, but to produce good works, these details all need to be overcome. The most challenging part of wearing this outfit lies in the weight of the headpiece; because the lace and embroidery are very solid, wearing it for a long time puts a lot of pressure on the cervical spine, requiring me to tilt my head back often to move around. The lace material of the costume is relatively stiff, which ensures the fluffiness of the skirt hem but also makes it easy to snag, so extra care must be taken when putting it on, taking it off, and posing. The silver-white wig tends to look grayish under warm light, requiring continuous adjustment of light positions to hit it with cool light to preserve the texture of the hair strands, and the stray hairs at the edges of the wig are repeatedly styled with hairspray to avoid looking frizzy in front of the lens. However, seeing the results coming out of the camera, I feel these efforts are totally worth it. The entire shooting process went smoothly, the set studio details are very rich, and post-processing basically doesn't need overly complex handling to achieve a great atmosphere. Although some full-body angle photos were taken directly facing the screen, the on-site light, shadow, and texture are actually much better looking than those in the screen.
