[Angels of Delusion Chinatsu Cosplay] Sharing a cafe Maid outfit look at CP32 Anime Convention

This outfit at the CP32 Anime Convention venue is the long-awaited Angels of Delusion Chinatsu Cosplay. Every detail of the costume was cross-checked repeatedly before the event, and I was finally able to wear it to capture photos within the convention setting.

Starting with the costume structure, the main black-and-white Maid outfit features rich layers. The upper half consists of a white ruffled blouse layered beneath a black apron-style piece and a red tie, with a golden bell at the neckline acting as the finishing touch. For headwear, a white cat-ear headband with irregular ruffles fits seamlessly with the pale light-green twin-tail wig. Under convention lighting, the hair strands show excellent luster; to faithfully match the character's hair tone, I specifically picked a light green with muted grayish-white undertones so it wouldn't look out of place.

The arm details are equally elaborate, featuring black-and-white stripes trimmed with lace and layered with black petal-shaped sleeve cuffs that beautifully contour the arm lines. The white plush bear prop held in my hand served as an essential accessory, balancing the visual weight of the overall outfit while making the composition livelier during posing. Such small props are great helpers for adding atmosphere during Coser daily life shoots.

The lower half consists of a black pleated miniskirt trimmed with white ruffles at the hem for rich layering, which, paired with the outer white apron, instantly evokes the daily vibe of a cafe maid alongside two-dimensional cuteness. Naturally, the highlight of the entire ensemble lies in the leg decorations.

White thigh-high socks feature a black jagged edge spliced at the top, which, combined with garters, visually elongates leg proportions while adding a playful touch. Loose white vertical-striped leg covers wrap around the calves, embellished with two bright red bows at the bottom—a design that pops intensely against the black-and-white palette. Combined with platform shoes, it enhances overall body proportions. In front of the camera, this standing posture and angle highlight the natural advantages of the character's leg contours, which was an angle communicated with the photographer in advance.

The shooting background was a spacious corridor in the CP32 exhibition center, where a blue sign on the upper left read "To 6B 7B Doujin." Though foot traffic was heavy, it offered plenty of framing options. Lighting mainly relied on diffuse natural light from the hall's high ceiling, a soft indoor light ideal for showcasing costume textures without generating harsh shadows.

Collaborating with the photographer was a delight; we focused primarily on capturing the character's relaxed, confident state. Because the weight of the outfit and props was manageable without posing physical burden, moving around or stopping for poses inside the venue went smoothly. For makeup, I paired contact lenses with bright lip color, ensuring facial features popped distinctly against the crowded backdrop.

Today's convention reminded me that a good cosplay not only requires restoring character elements as accurately as possible, but also considering the comfort and stability of the outfit during actual shoots. This cafe maid style look balances cute visual impact with practical wearability, allowing me to easily handle a full day's convention schedule. Through these photos, every detail of the outfit can be clearly appreciated—from accessories to garment lines, the performance on camera completely met expectations.
