While shooting this bunny girl ensemble, I kept wondering how Formidable, as a Royal Navy lady, would perceive such styling. In the lore of Azur Lane, she is a highborn lady who values etiquette and elegance, carrying an innate air of reserved poise even in her standing posture. Yet slipping into this white sheer lace outfit with bunny ears, black-and-white contrasting bows, ruffles, and a paired Black tights outfit created a delightfully intriguing contrast—shifting from solemn Royal Navy uniform to a subtly playful bunny girl aesthetic.

Preparing this costume required considerable effort prior to the shoot. The wig was chosen in a very light silver-white; the bangs had to be trimmed neatly to achieve that sleek yet naturally voluminous look for this White-haired character. The fluffy plush bunny ears on top were custom-made with internal wire support so they wouldn't collapse when turning my head. The black lace bows on both sides were relatively heavy, adorned with crucifixes and small black floral charms, secured with plenty of bobby pins. The black neckline bow with its ruby centerpiece and small metal brooch were carefully adjusted to avoid looking crooked on camera.

For makeup, I opted for pinkish and warm-red eyeshadow paired with reddish-brown contact lenses that matched the wig, accented with delicate glitter beneath the eyes to add a lively, radiant touch rather than a cold aura. Because the upper bodice features semi-sheer mesh patchwork, the foundation and body makeup were applied evenly—especially across the shoulders and collarbones, where the interplay between skin radiance and mesh weave created rich, elegant depth under studio lights.

We explored several angles in the studio. We began with close-up portraits, leaning slightly forward to focus the lens on the face and neckline. That focal distance highlighted the upper body design—cascading black ribbons paired with the softness of lace trim were genuinely eye-catching. However, to fully capture the proportions and presence of the outfit, full-body framing provided far greater visual impact.

I chose Photo 4 as the cover because it unified leg lines and classic bunny girl posing most seamlessly: sitting sideways with legs slightly raised, where the black pantyhose formed a sharp color contrast against the white backdrop and light wig. The white lace thigh strap on the leg was tricky to keep from slipping, but it stayed positioned perfectly during the shoot, visually elongating leg proportions. The hosiery was semi-sheer rather than overly thick, allowing natural skin tones to show through while brightening the lower body as a visual focal point.

In posing, I avoided rigid tension, preserving an air of effortless laziness. Resting my chin on my hand or casting my gaze downward captured that unhurried composure with which Formidable so effortlessly triumphs. While the attire leans sexy and cute, I restrained overly sweet expressions to preserve the poised calm of a Royal lady.

The studio used large softboxes, virtually eliminating harsh shadows. The pure white set paired with blue-gray and white floral arrangements established a clean, high-key white palette. This style tests exposure control to prevent the wig from blowing out, yet the final result remained luminous, like stepping into a pure fantasy realm. Through posture, demeanor, and intricate garment details, this Bunny girl cosplay achieved a wonderful chemistry with the character's core elegance in this Azur Lane Formidable cosplay.
