[Okusawa Misaki cosplay] BanG Dream!: The Perfect Stage of the Fox-Cat Duo at La-Bang O

The stage at this La-Bang O event was genuinely so much larger than the previous Gui-Bang stage; the moment the stage lights hit, my energy shot to maximum instantly. I can truly never tire of this military-style stage costume—every time I put it on, it feels fresh, and its tailoring and intricate details look exceptionally refined under the camera lenses of a bigger stage.

Having watched and memorized the key choreography during the earlier Gui-Bang event, our on-stage coordination was practically second nature. Even so, every time the camera shutter clicked, I was frantically praying to the heavens for great candid luck. After all, blocking and dance rhythms on stage move blisteringly fast; missing even one second could mean losing the most flawless angle. Fortunately, what answered my prayers was always the perfect, radiant smile of our Fox-Cat Duo, and we captured deeply satisfying shots just as hoped.

Following the rhythm of the music and our dance steps, we froze so many incredibly sweet moments in time. Here, I absolutely must thank my partner—for that cool, dashing pose, Xiaye held it firmly for three whole seconds at her limit, a truly epic personal breakthrough! Even though she couldn't hold it at the very last second and burst into giggles, that spontaneous, natural joy became the most vibrant memory. Maintaining the intensity of your movements on stage while managing your facial expressions is actually exhausting. In particular, the tassels, epaulets, layered skirt, and White stockings of this costume can easily tangle during wide, energetic motions. So before stepping onto the stage, we double-checked each other's accessories and wigs to ensure no wardrobe malfunctions occurred during the performance. When the spotlights washed over us and the blue backdrop screen framed the stage, that sheer immersion made us forget all exhaustion.

When we shouted out that iconic line together at the end—'Happy! Lucky! Smile! Yay!'—the voices of the audience below merged with ours, and in that moment, everything felt breathtakingly wonderful. Even more magically, when I checked my emails after returning from the performance, I found that the reviewer for my academic paper had actually raised my score! It turns out attending events really comes with a luck buff; you truly have to bow to the golden touch of HHW (Hello, Happy World!).

From repeated rehearsals off-stage to letting loose completely under the lights, every stage performance is a unique experience. The detailed craftsmanship of this outfit—such as the epaulets, tassels, and the tiered layers of the skirt—made it stand out brilliantly in front of the lens. I hope to have many more opportunities in the future to sweat, perform, and share joy with everyone on stage. Every shutter click is the greatest reward for all our rehearsals during this time, and I look forward to bringing everyone more exciting stage performances in Okusawa Misaki cosplay alongside Tsurumaki Kokoro!
