Outside the Firefly ACG Expo this time, I finally captured the exact feeling I wanted for this Laffey bunny girl outfit. The blue and white color palette paired with fluffy bunny ears makes the overall look very refreshing, while the slightly sexy off-the-shoulder bodysuit design perfectly matches Laffey's usual lazy yet reliable personality. During the shoot, I intentionally looked for this yellow-and-black striped barricade to use as a prop. It created a strong visual contrast with the blue-and-white tones, giving the image more depth. The rigid lines of the barricade and the softness of the bunny look complemented each other perfectly. Whether sitting sideways, squatting, or lightly leaning against it, the poses felt very natural and didn't look stiff at all. The white pom-poms on the skirt hem and cuffs added a fluffy texture, making the overall appearance look even more like a vivid little bunny. The photographer's snapshots were also incredible; the wide aperture blurred out the greenery and buildings in the background, highlighting the character as the main subject. The lighting was soft and even, making the skin tone and wig texture look very translucent. As a veteran player of Azur Lane, when cosplaying Laffey, I always want to recreate her nonchalant yet earnest disposition as much as possible. There are actually many details in this costume, such as the little white bunny plush on the chest, the pom-pom decorations on the shoes, and the blue bow headband. A lot of effort went into managing every single part. The temperature on the day of the expo wasn't low, and shooting outdoors in a bodysuit and thigh-high socks was quite a test of physical endurance. But seeing the clean, refreshing blue-and-white tones in the final photos made all the hard work feel completely worth it. This time, I didn't intentionally strike many complex poses; instead, I leaned toward capturing those everyday, casual moments—after all, Laffey herself is a lazy character who loves to lie down and sleep. Midway through the shoot, I also ran into many fellow fans. Everyone exchanged experiences on managing props and hairstyles, and the atmosphere was wonderful. For the makeup, I also tried a clearer, more translucent style, paired with pink eyeshadow to make my gaze look softer yet full of life. The white wig was styled to be quite fluffy with a natural curve, avoiding a fake look. In a chaotic environment like an ACG expo, being able to take a set of solo photos with a clean background and a clear theme truly tests the photographer's composition and patience in cosplay photography. I hope this set of photos allows everyone to feel Laffey's unique charm, and I'm very grateful for the photographer's hard work—every collaboration sparks new inspiration.
