When shooting Aemeath this time, the things that gave me the biggest headache were those long ribbons and the glowing special effects on the headpiece. To recreate the character's lightweight yet high-tech texture, I specially customized a fabric with a pearlescent gradient and even sewed fine reflective threads into certain parts. The lighting on set during the shoot was very deliberate. We used two LED lights with softboxes from the back-lateral angles to outline the silhouette, and a reflector in the front for fill light, which allowed the pink wig to present a translucent sheen. The glowing collar on the neck actually had a built-in rechargeable LED light strip. To control the brightness, we repeatedly adjusted the color temperature before the shoot, finally settling on a cool white tone to create visual layers with the blue glitch effect blocks in the background. For the poses, I intentionally chose dynamic movements like leaning the body forward and making a finger heart. This is because the character Aemeath not only possesses a mecha-like combat stance but also has a very playful side, and dynamic snapshots can better reflect the tension of the ribbons and hair. During post-processing, I added scattered pixel matrices and floating blue light blocks to the background, echoing the visual elements of the digital world in the game. It can be said that the entire work, from costume production to shooting and post-processing, did its best to stay close to the image of that Cyberpunk style Anime girl in my mind. I hope this recreation of light-and-shadow texture and outfit details allows everyone to feel the character's own charm through this Cosplay photography project.
