[Rapi cosplay] Goddess of Victory: Nikke Summer Swimsuit: Leisurely Moments on the Yacht Deck

I've finally organized and sorted through this backlog of photos from our Rapi yacht shoot (Yacht photoshoot / Swimsuit cosplay), and now it's ready to share.

The weather on the day of the shoot wasn't particularly great; at dusk, the river surface was shrouded in mist, but the muted gray tones of the sky and water actually lent the entire set a soft, lingering late-summer atmosphere. We chose a private yacht as our main setting. The vessel's architecture was stunning—featuring a white curved canopy, wooden anti-slip stepped stairways, and solid metal handrails running inside and out. Looking out from the deck, scattered lights were already flickering on across the city high-rises on the opposite bank. That large building with its red diamond-grid facade stood out prominently in the twilight, reflecting over the shimmering water to give the environment a rich, textured depth.

This time, I portrayed Rapi's summer swimsuit look (Rapi cosplay). The costume design fits the character's crisp, no-nonsense style perfectly: the top is a loose, sporty teal-blue and white color-blocked short-sleeved T-shirt, which I tied at the hem to reveal the red string bikini underneath, looking both refreshing and effortlessly alluring. In terms of detailed accessories, the slim black choker and the small black horn hair ornaments on top are the soul of this look. Paired with the bright orange-red wig and headband, they instantly captured Rapi's earnest yet subtly deadpan charm in Goddess of Victory: Nikke.

Shooting an outdoor Yacht photoshoot on the water is actually much harder than studio work. Whenever the river breeze blew, the wig and hair accessories were prone to shifting, and the yacht swayed gently with the waves—posing a real test for both the photographer's candid capture skills and my own expression management in this Cosplay photography session. Yet precisely because of this free and relaxed environment, I was able to show a more organic demeanor before the lens. Leaning over the stainless steel railings in the breeze or sitting on the wooden deck gazing at the distant city skyline yielded truly picturesque moments.

As for the cat memes appearing in some of these photos, they originated from casual, humorous banter between Sadako and me during the outdoor shoot. It felt hilarious when sharing them with friends, so I incorporated them into the post-production edits as a fun record of behind-the-scenes moments and daily life—purely for everyone's entertainment.

Regarding the character of Rapi, her core disposition is steadfast with a touch of single-minded innocence. In shaping her Swimsuit cosplay image, I wanted to showcase her relaxed, cozy, and subtly languid side while on vacation, away from the tension of combat. The yacht, river, and white-blue-red palette visually reinforced this soothing summer healing vibe.

Even though meme stickers were added in post, the lighting and atmosphere captured by the camera are deeply authentic. Standing on the yacht deck, greeting the evening breeze off the river while watching the sky dim over the city's edge, that effortless relaxation is something no post-processing could ever fake. I hope this documented backlog set lets everyone feel that cozy tranquility from that moment.
