Today, I stepped into the role of a One-day store manager as Moria Ruruka at the Goods Run 'All-Star Radiant Summer' pop-up event. Looking back on the full day, my greatest takeaway was that it was an exhausting yet joyous ride. To stay faithful to the character's design, styling and makeup took considerable time this morning; sculpting the wig was especially demanding. The iconic looped ahoge at the crown and the outward-curving side locks flanking my cheeks required generous amounts of hairspray and infinite patience. Once the purple four-pointed star ornament and veil were pinned in place, that signature commanding aura from Detective Precure! immediately took shape.

The wardrobe was remarkably tiered and layered. Wearing the black, white, purple, and gold dress carries noticeable physical weight—a high white collar paired with a black bow tie, anchored visually by the purple heart-shaped gemstone across the chest. The black capelet over the shoulders is trimmed with gilded piping over inner white puff sleeves. Below, the tiered skirt features a black outer layer edged in gold, revealing the white pleats underneath with every step. For visual unity, I styled dark pantyhose Stockings with matching shoes and coated my nails in a deep, coordinating polish, letting those fine details shine whenever handling merch or holding poses.

As the One-day store manager, my core duties revolved around engaging with attendees at the booth, organizing merchandise displays, and presenting promotional goods from the event. The counter was stocked with assorted pink packaging boxes, blind boxes, and collectible cards. Throughout the shift, I held up clear-packaged art cards or posed with the intricately decorated display plaque. That plaque was exceptionally crafted—a black base lined with silver lace, purple satin ribbons, and miniature metallic cutlery, centered around character can badges—making holding it feel like performing a sacred ceremony.

During my shifts today, I channeled the character's composed, calm demeanor, which is why my expressions lean more serious in the photos. Whether bowing my head to organize items, raising one hand into a pose, or standing beside the life-sized acrylic standee, I aimed to convey her authentic personality. In full-body standing shots, the tiered skirt volume and the clean lines of the Stockings came through crisply, making for some of my favorite captures of the day.

So many fans of the series showed up, snapping photos at the booth with cameras and phones. I held up merchandise cards and display plaques to coordinate with everyone's shots, adjusting my stance and angles to offer better compositions. While standing in this heavy ensemble all day was tiring on the feet, seeing visitors walk away thrilled with their merch made this One-day store manager gig thoroughly rewarding. The pop-up vibe was fantastic, the booth setup was thoughtfully curated, and taking part in it was truly a cherished memory.
