After finishing this set of photos, it just happened to line up with the equipment support provided by Panasonic, Zhiyun, and Neisha Camera Rental. Since the event organizers provided such professional gear, I wanted to try blending the dream elements of Genshin Impact into a daily cozy home environment. The theme of this shoot is Yumemizuki Mizuki from Genshin Impact. The overall color palette of the costume leans toward soft lavender, lotus-root pink, and pure white patchwork. To create that elf-like feel for the character, I specifically chose an ice-blue long straight wig and wore pointed elf ears that fit the face contour well.

There are many details in the costume worth pondering. The black-and-white striped choker around the neck is not only vintage but also has a golden bell hanging in the center. Although it makes little sound when moving, it adds visual refinement. The detached sleeves utilize deep purple bows to echo the colors of the wide purple-and-white gradient sleeves beautifully. Together with the thick hemp rope tied around the waist, the overall sense of layering is instantly enriched. To match the character's atmosphere, I specially selected a room paved with light-colored tatami mats, where the raw wood-colored low table and sofa bring an immense sense of translucency.

It was afternoon when we shot, and the sunlight cast regular striped shadows on the wall and sofa through the venetian blinds. This natural division filled the frame with a sense of breathability. Complemented by the smooth camera movements of the Zhiyun stabilizer, stable frame output was guaranteed even during low-angle sitting and reclining shots. Because I needed to sit sideways on the ground for a long time, I had to constantly stay mindful of whether the skirt folds were neat while maintaining this relaxed and slightly smiling expression. Through the delicate straight-from-camera color reproduction of the Panasonic camera, even under soft, low-saturation light, the skin texture and the sheer transparency of the dress fabric were shot with absolute clarity.

Yumemizuki Mizuki from Genshin Impact has a charm that drifts between reality and dreamscape. To fit this attribute, I intentionally toned down the color blocks in my makeup, using a relatively clear and translucent base paired with a natural nude lipstick. Combined with a natural face-palming gesture, it doesn't make people feel forced. The tatami provided enough support indoors so that I didn't have to worry about getting my clothes dirty even when frequently changing sitting poses. The white rabbit plushie next to me was also a small highlight in the scene, forming a clever echo with the little white rabbit print on the skirt edge.

This shoot didn't deliberately aim to create a strong visual impact, but instead chose the most comfortable way to present the character's laziness. For example, curling my legs slightly while sitting cross-legged, paired with a natural hair-flipping movement, kept the overall frame clean yet gentle. In the final cuts, I had the post-processing lean slightly warmer in tone, deepening the colors of the tatami and wooden table, giving a warm landing spot for the coldness of the blue-purple tones. I hope to convey that dreamy and approachable trait of Yumemizuki Mizuki.

For this set of pictures, I am quite satisfied with the current posture and expression handling. There's no need to try too hard; a point-to-point refinement is actually more convincing. The equipment provided a solid guarantee for image quality, and the rest was left to the atmosphere and state. Before preparing this Genshin Impact cosplay costume, I repeatedly referenced the character's settings, especially making quite a few adjustments to the three-dimensional feel of the accessories and hairstyle. Although I was in close contact with the floor and tatami for a long time during the shooting process, the final cuts were indeed comforting. I am very happy to record this special collaboration with Genshin Impact's Yumemizuki Mizuki in this quiet state of home tranquility.
