Cosplaying Cheshire at the Firefly ACG Expo was an authentic, grounding experience. Starting with hair and makeup: the blue-and-white wig required detailed layering, particularly across the bangs to sculpt airy fluff. Topped with plush cat ears and an oversized ribbon bow, the headpiece carried noticeable weight, though steady adjustments kept it balanced. The wardrobe holds intricate craftsmanship—ruffled skirt trims, silver chest ornaments, and sheer off-shoulder puff sleeves shifted dramatically in texture between changing venue lights.

Shooting relied entirely on on-site fill light. Donning White stockings and sitting atop the elevated platform to elongate leg lines served as the centerpiece for the cover shot. Posing required tightening the legs and arching the instep to balance body weight while holding a chibi Cheshire plushie, taking care not to squeeze the soft doll out of shape. Makeup balanced red accents around the eyes against azure contacts to sharpen my gaze amidst erratic convention neons that threatened the costume's blue-and-white tones.
