This time at the Zhengzhou ZCZ Comic Exhibition, I cosplayed Stocking from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Although this character often wears the classic black-and-purple style in the original work, I also really love the white-and-blue derivative styling chosen for this convention photos session. The entire top uses a corset cut, embellished with blue heart-shaped decorations on the chest and waist. To match, I specially wore light blue bow hair accessories, and my hair is long straight hair with a dark blue-purple base and pink highlights, paired with blunt bangs. The makeup uses pink-toned eyeshadow blending and green contact lenses, hoping to bring a slightly different vibrant feel to the character. The clothing has many details. The white feather wings on the back need to be fixed to the shoulders and back with invisible straps, the sleeves feature golden metallic-texture wristbands, and the neckpiece is also a white ruffled collar with gold edges. The white multi-layered puffy skirt on the lower body has a lot of wavy ruffles, requiring careful arrangement when walking or sitting down. On my legs, I wore white over-the-knee stockings with light blue stripes, paired with white platform high-heeled lace-up sandals. At the venue of the Zhengzhou ZCZ Comic Exhibition, the lighting was very good, and the ground was very bright, reflecting very clear reflections. On the shooting day, I communicated with photographer Qiufeng Fynne Photo for a long time. We chose a relatively quiet location and used a black four-legged bar stool for support. Posing on a bar stool is actually a bit more tiring than expected because the skirt hem is very large. To keep the skirt from being completely flattened while maintaining the crossed-leg posture to showcase the lines of the stockings and shoes, I kept adjusting my center of gravity. In addition, the wings on the back are also very easy to hit nearby props when turning around, so every movement had to be slowed down, paying attention to the shape of the feathers. When shooting full-body photos, I deliberately placed my center of gravity on one leg while letting the other leg hang down naturally; this composition can well showcase the layering of the skirt hem and the extension of the legs. When shooting half-body photos, I raised my arms more, gently playing with the feathers on both sides to create some interaction between my gaze and the lens. I am very satisfied with the completion of this styling, from wig grooming to clothing wearing, trying my best to keep it smooth. Although the lighting at the scene was relatively complex, the photographer's lighting and post-processing retained many details, preventing the white clothing from being overexposed and making the blue accessories look very clear. In the fast-paced environment of a comic exhibition, putting together this outfit and shooting satisfactory convention photos really took a lot of thought. I really like the overall effect, and the white-and-blue matching was also very eye-catching at the scene.
