The Halloween atmosphere has to be maxed out, so this time I tried Rem's special Halloween outfit. The highlights of this styling are the classic red-and-black witch hat and that heavily textured black patent leather bodysuit. To recreate the character's playful feel, the wig chose a layered light blue bob, paired with a quite challenging 2D anime makeup look, emphasizing eye makeup details to make the gaze look more agile. In terms of costume details, the white lapel and black bow tie added layering, while the small bat wings on the back and the trident prop are key focuses for increasing overall fun, enriching the action extensibility of the frame during shooting. The black glossy long gloves are also the finishing touch, making the overall styling more complete.

The shooting venue was chosen in a vintage-style bar; the wooden wine racks, warm yellow lighting, and various pumpkin lantern decorations directly created a strong festive vibe. In lighting, we used a main light source to illuminate the face, coupled with background rim light to highlight the character's three-dimensionality, while also allowing the patent leather material of the clothes to reflect a beautiful luster. In terms of pose guidance, besides regular sitting poses, we also tried lying on the side next to a large pumpkin, utilizing the pumpkin as a foreground prop to increase the frame's layering. Shooting scenes with a large amount of props requires careful depth of field control; it's necessary to ensure the character is clear while letting the background pumpkin lanterns and wine bottles blur out just right.

In clothing coordination, black stockings over-the-knee were chosen, which not only echoed the overall black tone but also effectively elongated the leg lines and increased the visual tension of the frame when shooting sitting or leg-raising actions. When shooting sitting at the bar counter, utilizing actions like holding the hat brim or playing with the trident naturally showcased a Halloween atmosphere with a hint of a little devil attribute. The contrast between bare feet and black stockings was also an attempt to add a sense of breathability to the frame. The overall tone of the photos leans warm; post-processing slightly enhanced the saturation of orange and red to make the Halloween feeling more intense, while also making meticulous adjustments to skin tone to ensure it remains translucent under warm light.

The prop preparation this time was very thorough; pumpkin lanterns of all sizes played a crucial embellishing role and could even be used as interactive props. For example, hiding the face behind a pumpkin or hugging a pumpkin could make the photos look less rigid. Rem's gentleness as a character and Halloween's quirkiness actually have quite a contrast, so in expression management, it retained a bit of her original daze-cute charm while adding some mischievousness belonging to the holiday. During the shooting process, the cooperation between lighting and material took the most time, because shiny clothes easily produce messy reflections, requiring continuous adjustment of light source angles to achieve a textured yet clean visual effect. Overall, this shoot was a very interesting attempt, combining a classic character with festive elements to collide and create a different visual effect. On this special night, let's enjoy the fun of Halloween together.
