I'll be attending CICF on both Day 1 and Day 2, cosplaying Yao's Encounter Divine Deer from Honor of Kings. Preparing for this convention took quite a bit of time; all props and outfits are now packed and boxed, ready for the venue.

The biggest challenge this time was definitely the anti-gravity wig. To ensure the white hair and deer antlers stayed firmly in place, I spent countless hours shaping the wire armature on the mannequin head, carefully securing the elf ears and plush ornaments in their exact positions. Photo 3 shows the wig-styling process—those transparent threads and T-pins were used to make sure the structure wouldn't collapse from walking around the con floor. The anti-gravity effect needed to balance aesthetic shooting angles with wearable comfort, making weight distribution absolutely crucial.

The matching staff prop is another focal point, requiring continuous grip adjustments during shoots depending on its length and weight. The Encounter Divine Deer attire features numerous flowing ribbons and airy chiffon layers that can easily tangle while moving, so I'll need to constantly watch my hemline during indoor hall roaming to prevent it from getting stepped on or caught on neighboring booths.

On D1 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, I will be roaming the outdoor grounds. Outdoor night lighting can be demanding; to help get great shots, I brought my own light stand and a portable stool. The light stand can serve as rim lighting or face fill, while the stool allows photographers to comfortably set up low-angle compositions. Photographers interested in capturing moody night portraits are welcome to drop by during this window. On D2 during the daytime, I'll be in the indoor halls. While the indoor lighting is generally sufficient, overhead light and heavy foot traffic are inevitable challenges. Indoor shooting tests our ability to spot clean backgrounds, requiring us to slip between crowds whenever openings appear.

This will continue as a TFP photoshoot format—I'll properly credit and tag the photographers in my captions when posting the final work. Having 1.8k followers on the neighboring platform will provide solid exposure for the photos. Interested photographers are warmly invited to bring their gear along; whether you want dedicated convention shoots or casual snapshot greetings, you are completely welcome. I'll do my best to accommodate any requested poses and angles, so feel free to communicate directly.

In many ways, TFP is a mutual creative process: photographers refine their style, while cosplayers hone their camera presence. I don't set strict restrictions on photographic style—as long as we can capture the mood of Encounter Divine Deer, whether through close-ups or wide atmospheric scenes, I'm eager to try. The costume is rich in fine details, like the cuff embroidery and the contrasting skirt hemlines, which shine best when captured from diverse perspectives.

The CICF venue is massive, and these two days are packed full of plans. I hope this anti-gravity wig and long staff will leave behind some gorgeous frames across the convention grounds. Feel free to come by and catch me at the con!
